"Customised" Azure DevOps and Microsoft Teams Integration

Was wondering if someone on this platform could give me some tips/guidance/advice on this query please

We are looking to integrate Microsoft Teams into our Azure DevOps CICD pipeline. We have already done this via the MT plugin in ADO, but the feature seems a bit limited, with no scope of customising the configuration and output messages

Our goal is to customise or 'script' the integration changes, so that we can have more room or opportunities to define the output messages as we choose to as opposed to the standard out-of-the-box messages the plugin provides

Has anyone done this in their organisation? If yes, would appreciate if you could reply me here with details and what to do going forward
