I use the RD client for iOS to access some desktop PC’s. To access those I created a user account in the RD client, so I don't need to type in the long username, but explicitly don’t supply a password (I want to type it in every time I need to acccess a remote desktop).

When I start a connection to a remote desktop the first time using the supplied account,I’m asked to enter the password. But the second time I don’t have to supply the password anymore, because it’s then stored with to user account (which I explicitly don’t want).

Can this behavior be changed?

@js351 I've emailed the screen recording (as a link to the iCloud) to 'Email address removed'

Hi @rhoek76 ,

Thank you for sharing the screen recording. Please provide feedback if this is incorrect: from my understanding the path forward for accommodating your request is a checkbox marking 'remember my password' in the sign in process for the remote session. Therefore, allowing for the user to control whether the password is stored alongside their user account. This functionality has been brought to engineering and is currently in backlog.

Yes, that's exactly the case.

And of course, the checkbox should be unchecked by default.

In addition: when no user account is linked, the checkmark is not needed.
