We've confirmed that all systems are back to normal with no customer impact as of 01/18, 16:37 UTC. Our logs show the incident started on 01/18, 15:55 UTC and during the 42mins that it took to resolve the issue, customers of Application Insights may have experienced intermittent data gaps and incorrect alert activation.
  • Potential Root Cause: We determined that the backend service became unhealthy. This resulted in the dependent service to be unavailable.
