Experiencing Data Access issue in Azure Portal for Many Data Types - 06/07 - Resolved

We've confirmed that all systems are back to normal with no customer impact as of 6/7, 14:30 UTC. Our logs show the incident started on 6/7, 03:58 UTC and that during the 10 hours and 32 minutes that it took to resolve the issue. Some customers using Application Insights, Log Analytics, Service Map and Azure sentinel may have experienced data access issue and delayed or missed alerts in East US2 region.
  • Root Cause: The failure was due to dependent backend services.

Some customers using Application Insights, Log Analytics, Service Map and Azure sentinel may continue to experience data access issue and delayed or missed alerts in East US2 region. Initial findings indicate that the problem began at 06/07 03:58 UTC. We currently have no estimate for resolution.
