We've confirmed that all systems are back to normal with no customer impact as of 09 July 2022, 01:13 UTC. Our logs show the incident started on 09 July 2022, 00:15 UTC and that during the 1 hour that it took to resolve the issue of customers experienced unavailability of metrics and some alerts were not fired as expected.

- Root Cause: We determined that a dependent backend service which Azure Monitor relies upon became unhealthy.
