We've confirmed that all systems are back to normal as of 05/27, 21:22 UTC. Our logs show the incident started on 05/27, 12:16 UTC and that during the 8 hours 53 minutes that it took to resolve the issue some customers using Application Inisghts resources in East US region might have experienced intermittent Data Latency, Data Gaps and incorrect Alert Activation.
- Root Cause: The failure was due to issue in our storage backend service.
