Experiencing Data Latency issue in Azure Portal for Many Data Types - 07/07 - Investigating

We've confirmed that all systems are back to normal with no customer impact as of 17:00 UTC on 07 Jul 2022. Our logs show the incident started on 12:00 UTC on 06 Jul 2022 you were identified as a customer using Application Insights in West Central US who may have experienced ingestion latency and delayed alerts.

  • Root Cause: The failure was due to the dependent backend service unhealthy.
  • Incident Timeline:  06 Jul 2022 12:00 UTC through 07 Jul 2022 17:00 UTC
We understand that customers rely on Application Insights as a critical service and apologize for any impact this incident caused.
