Experiencing Data Latency issue in Azure Portal for availabilty Data Types - 09/20 - Resolved

We've confirmed that all systems are back to normal with no customer impact as of 09/20, 07:30 UTC. Our logs show the incident started on 09/19, 19:30 UTC and that during the 12 hours that it took to resolve the issue a very small subset of customers could have experienced delays in receiving their availability test notifications.
  • Root Cause: The failure was due to an issue in one of our dependent services.

We understand that customers rely on Application Insights as a critical service and apologize for any impact this incident caused.

We continue to investigate issues within Application Insights. Root cause is not fully understood at this time. Some customers continue to experience data latency for availability data type and may experience delays in getting their notifications. We currently have no estimate for resolution.
