We've confirmed that all systems are back to normal with no customer impact as of 07/23, 20:18 UTC. Our logs show the incident started on 07/23, 17:00 UTC and that during the 1 hour that it took to resolve the issue some customers in US gov region have experienced a gap in data of up to 10% of ingested metrics.
Root Cause: The failure was due to an issue in one of our dependent services.
