We've confirmed that all systems are back to normal with no customer impact as of 03/20, 05:50 UTC. Our logs show the incident started on 03/20, 03:45 UTC and that during the 2 hours 05 minutes that it took to resolve the issue some customers may have experienced intermittent data access issues and intermittent data latency in East US and West Europe regions. Customers may also have experienced missed or delayed alerts in these regions.
- Root Cause: We determined that a backend service which the Application Insight service is dependent upon, became unhealthy and was unable to complete requests from Application Insights.
