We've confirmed that all systems are back to normal with no customer impact.  Engineers have concluded the investigation for the alert and confirm that all dependent services are healthy and the service incident did not occur.
  • Root Cause: This was a false alert. Live metrics service was not impacted.
We understand that customers rely on Application Insights as a critical service and apologize for any inconvenience.

We continue to investigate issues within Application Insights Live Metrics. Root cause is not fully understood at this time. Some customers continue to experience issues viewing their Live Metrics data. We believe if customers refresh their page they will be able to view their data. We are working to establish the start time for the issue, initial findings indicate that the problem began at 9/18 7:00 UTC. We currently have no estimate for resolution.
