We've confirmed that all systems are back to normal with no customer impact as of 07/31, 17:15 UTC. Our logs show the incident started on 07/31, 14:45 UTC and that during the 1 hour 30 minutes that it took to resolve the issue some customers in East US region might have experienced intermittent data access issues while accessing log analytics data and performing queries.
Root Cause: The failure was due to issue in one of our dependent services.
