We've confirmed that all systems are back to normal in West Central US with no customer impact as of 1/17, 21:32 UTC. Our logs show the incident started on 1/17, 21:11 UTC and that during the 21 minutes that it took to resolve the issue 28% of customers in West Central US experienced possible latent data ingest, query failures and/or timeouts and unexpected alerts being fired or no alert being fired.
- Root Cause: The failure was due to a maintenance process on the back end running longer than expected.
