We've confirmed that all systems are back to normal with no customer impact as of 07/09, 02:50 UTC. Our logs show the incident started on 07/08, 22:30 UTC and that during the 4 hours 20 minutes that it took to resolve the issue customers whose log search alerts are configured in West Europe region might have experienced delay in alert notification and execution of Log Search queries might have timed out.
Root Cause: The failure was due to one of our backend service which went into unhealthy state.
