Will Windows Server 2008 R2 still be supported after migration to Azure? Are there still updates being released for it and if so how does windows update differentiate between Azure VMs and other installations?

@CedricA You can migrate your on-premises Windows Server 2008 and 2008 R2 servers to Azure virtual machines and get Extended Security Updates for three years after the End of Support dates at no additional charge above the cost of running the virtual machine. You can use the Azure Migrate: Server Migration tool to migrate your Windows Server 2008 and 2008 R2 workloads.
