odix's FileWall, an app available in Azure Marketplace, prevents malware from infiltrating an organization's network by disarming malicious code from email attachments. FileWall is a CDR-native application within Microsoft 365 that protects files from known and unknown future attacks, where legacy solutions fall short. FileWall runs in conjunction with Microsoft security solutions such as Exchange Online Protection and Microsoft 365 Defender and is easy to configure as a security add-on for Exchange Online.
What do you like best about FileWall? What I like most about FileWall is how granular you can get within the policy enforcement as well as the ability to apply different policies to different groups, so you aren’t allowing everyone in the organization access to certain incoming file types. The end-user experience is clean and easy to understand, which allows for easy rollout with minimal end-user training.
How has the product helped your organization? It has increased the conversation throughout our organization about what file types are and are not secure and why, which broadens overall cybersecurity awareness.
How are customer service and support? Not only are they prompt with responding to questions or issues, but on more than one occasion, they have reached out to us to let us know of new threats or alerts impacting certain file types so we could block them until security updates were pushed out.
Any recommendations to other users considering this product? If you want to reduce the threat of incoming attachment-based threats, FileWall is a smart solution for any organization.
What is your overall rating for this product? 5 out of 5 stars.
