As organizations increasingly empower fusion teams of subject matter experts and pro developers to partner together to build and manage bots, Microsoft is working hard to ensure that SMEs – using Power Virtual Agents – and pro developers – using Azure Bot Service Composer – can collaboratively build intelligent bots. For example, the integration between PVA and Composer enables SMEs to start building bots with PVA’s graphical interface and deploy them quickly to the channel of their choice. When needed, pro developers can extend those bots with Composer to create custom dialogs that handle interruptions, cancelations and context switching – all within PVA’s SaaS environment. Furthermore, we have also announced capabilities to allow both PVA and Azure Bot Service to be used as skills bidirectionally. For example, Azure Bot Service bots as a skill can be used with PVA hosted bots, and PVA bots as a skill with Azure Bot Service bots (preview).
