Xbox app is missing a lot of features from Xbox console companion
Xbox console companion app which is being depreciated and retired, has still a lot of useful features such as clubs, screenshot uploads, friends activity, uploading your own custom photo as avatar, viewing captures etc etc Xbox app has none of these, yet every time I open Xbox console companion app it says use Xbox app instead, I'm worried that none of these features are going to be added to the new Xbox app. I highly depend on these features and they are important ones. How to remove XBOX app from my device?
I cannot seem to be able to remove Xbox app from my device. It cannot be uninstalled because the uninstall button is disabled from settings. I do not need it. I once pressed Win+Alt+R by mistake in a confidential meeting and it started recording so I got into a predicament. I decided to completely delete it from my PC. Install games from Xbox app, play it, then uninstall it, the shortcut that was made automatically on desktop will still be there, having a white placeholder icon. I want to tell Cortana "Install Sea of Thieves from Windows store" and then she does it. it'd be very helpful and convenient to do this, instead of searching for the name of the app/game, clicking on install. for games, Cortana can ask the same question Windows store or Xbox app asks from user upon installation, which drive to install the game to, and user can talk back and say drive C, drive D etc. if like the idea, upvote this feedback in feedback hub: https://aka.ms/AAavmqdXbox app isn't recognizing games I own and still lets me buy them if they are part of a bundle
Windows 10 build 20262.1010 Xbox app version 2012.1001.5.0 I own Sea of thieves, now there is a different edition of the game, called Sea of thieves: Black Friday Special Edition, which contains the base game and a few cosmetics. I go through all of the steps of purchase; enter my Windows 10 Pin and I can continue until fully re-purchasing it! Expected behavior: 1. I should be prevented from buying the title when I press Buy, even the Buy button shouldn't be available since I have the game already. 2. if the base game can be separated from the cosmetic stuff, deduct the base game's price and only charge for the cosmetics. Fast Ring insider, I've been using Xbox insider Hub app on Windows 10 for more than a year now and It never shows notifications when there is a new quest, survey, report, rating etc available. I just have to open it once every few days to make sure I don't miss anything. can we please get a notification when something new is available to do on the Xbox insider Hub app?
