22 TopicsHow to edit a link on a post
Hi everyone! I needed to edit a Viva Engage post with a link. I thought it was successful, because the text link was updated. However, the embedded link (the one that's in a rectangular box showing the link title and some text + image on the left side) is still showing the old link. How do I edit this embedded link, too? Or even just delete it completely.3KViews0likes4CommentsFew Doubts - Viva Engage
Hello everyone! I have some questions about viva engage, I hope someone can help me. Is it possible to hide the "create a community" option, so that only a few users that I select can see it? How can I schedule posts? For us it's very important to know how, because all the communication we had on Facebook, we now do on Viva Engage. When I remove or add a member to a community (1 to 1 or by csv file), how can I turn off email notification? we don't want anyone to receive notification that they have been removed or added to the community. Is there an option we can configure to disable all notifications for all users? and then each one can configure it as required. Is there a way for the user to update the cover photo and profile photo? Regards, Sarai2.6KViews1like12CommentsDelete default "all company"
Hi! In my company we created a new "all" community in Viva Engage. We deleted the default "all company" but, on the client and web apps, it still appears in the "my communities" section. If you click it, it says the community has been deleted. Is there a way to make deleted communties disappear from "my communities" section? Thank you2KViews0likes3Commentsnotifications delay
Normally it is marked that a person should receive a notification 15 to 20 minutes after publishing a post. However, my colleagues receive notifications of my posts by email about 12 hours later. Can you explain this delay? Also, is it possible to make them receive the notification at a specific time?Solved1.5KViews0likes1CommentAbility to schedule a Yammer / Engage post
Hey folks, I hope you are doing well. It would be great if we could schedule our posts (like on LinkedIn). There is already an idea posted https://feedbackportal.microsoft.com/feedback/idea/b21a1955-2f6f-ed11-a81b-6045bdaf6a9e, so please vote. I can help with the requirements. Have a great week 🙂 DimitriWhy can't I see Own Posts in Viva engage home feed?
Hello! I am not able to see own posts among the other posts featured in the viva engage home feed. Only when I navigate to my profile then I am able to see them. Even after switching to 'All Conversations' own posts are not visible no matter how deep we scroll down. Similar behavior is observed by other team members as well. Is that a default Viva engage feature and if not then kindly please mention how it can be accessed or rectified. Thanks!867Views0likes1CommentInvite guests to Viva Engage Community
I am looking into using Viva Engage but it is a deal breaker for us that guests with non-microsoft accounts cannot be added. It looks like the old Yammer used to allow external users to join? but the new Viva Engage does not? I have read articles about the new B2B guest framework https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/viva/engage/work-with-external-users/collaborate-guests-external-viva-engage-community What I am trying to achieve though is allowing personal accounts, gmail, hotmail, etc Our use case is that we have a company community, but would like to invite a small number of guests into our community prior to them joining our team to give them a feel for how the business operates. I would be happy to assign purchase and assign licenses, but there is no easy way for non Office365 admins to do so. It would also cause friction to ask a new person that is not part of our business to use a new MS email account. Ideally this is how I would see it working Just allow guests to join with personal accounts. Community admins can just type in their email and invite them. We could have a pool of available Viva Engage licences. Community admins can invite a guest via their personal email address and assign an available licence.Solved858Views0likes1CommentViva Engage reporting with Viva Suite not working
Hi, I have a Viva Suite licence in order to access Viva Engage reporting by campaign. However, even using the right # for the campaigns, no statistics appears on the campaign dashboard. See image below. It is stuck on zero, even though I can see in the feed that the Viva Engage posts using this campaign hashtags have been seen and have some engagement (e.g. reactions). Why and how can it be fixed? Else it is useless to pay for reporting to finally not have any easy overview of the statistics. In case I missed something, can't we have access to an overview of statistics by community? Thank you a lot in advance for your help. It looks so messy so far. I got a question from a group of Swedish users with a community in Viva Engage. When they update with new posts, an email is sent out to the members. They have noticed that these emails are often sent out in the middle of the night, one or more days after the post is written. Is there any setting for the community owner, to set when these daily emails are sent out, to avoid burdening members with these nightly emails? (there are several reasons for why we do not want jobrelated emails to be sent in the middle of the night, and for notifications automatically sent out, users are not always on top of adjusting their notifications , so therefore this question) Our organization exist in several time zones, so this would be good to set for each community depending on time zone. I can not find any info on how to adjust the time/time zone when these emails are sent out. So what is currently causing them being sent out in the middle of the night for our European users? As a first response to this we encourage users to look into their Viva Engage Notification settings, but we have no good answer to why the emails have to go out in the middle of the night. Is this a new requirement or being looked into? Anyone else with similar experience?836Views3likes1CommentHow to Ensure Email Digests are Properly Rendered in Outlook
I was blowing the dust off of my organization's 'All Company' community and, as expected, a handful of staff were emailed about my post . However, the email only included links to the post, instead of fully rendering the post so people could see the content, react and reply. Is there a way to ensure that all emails sent from a community fully render in Outlook? It's a great feature, but it doesn't seem reliable.741Views1like1Comment
