I got a question from a group of Swedish users with a community in Viva Engage. When they update with new posts, an email is sent out to the members. They have noticed that these emails are often sent out in the middle of the night, one or more days after the post is written. Is there any setting for the community owner, to set when these daily emails are sent out, to avoid burdening members with these nightly emails? (there are several reasons for why we do not want jobrelated emails to be sent in the middle of the night, and for notifications automatically sent out, users are not always on top of adjusting their notifications , so therefore this question) Our organization exist in several time zones, so this would be good to set for each community depending on time zone. I can not find any info on how to adjust the time/time zone when these emails are sent out. So what is currently causing them being sent out in the middle of the night for our European users? As a first response to this we encourage users to look into their Viva Engage Notification settings, but we have no good answer to why the emails have to go out in the middle of the night. Is this a new requirement or being looked into? Anyone else with similar experience?837Views3likes1CommentHow to download/export usernames in Viva Engage?
Hi, I am trying to find ways to download information who has posted a comment, and other information as shown below. I tried exporting page analytics, but it does not show me the names and also, I need the counts. Who has responded to the discussion? Who has submitted a picture How many likes received on the picture How many comments received on the picture How many likes/loves received on the comments How many responses submitted on a discussion How many likes received on the discussion How many comments received on the response How many likes/loves received on the response Does anyone know how can I get this? Many thanks in advance! Thanks BanashreeSolved333Views1like2CommentsAllowing guest accounts and/or multi tenant synced users to discover new communities in Viva Engage
Hi, We have performed a multi tenant syncronization with a company with the purpose of enabling more effective collaboration as if we belonged to the same tenant In Viva. We have invited the synced microsoft users to our Viva Engage portal. Because of the sync, the users are no longer marked as 'guests' in Viva Engage. However, the issue is, once synced the users (who are added to Viva as members, not guests) still cannot discover new communities in Viva that they have not been invited to (as if they where guests). Is there any way of enabling this? I was looking into setting of 'Native mode' / 'non-native mode' / 'hybrid-mode' and was hoping perhaps that could be of use. Big thank you in advance!281Views1like1CommentViva Goals - Reassigning Objectives & Key Results
Hi All, I’m wondering if someone would be able to help with what seems like a Viva Goals glitch described below please? It seems that when reassigning objectives or key results within Viva Goals, it seems to ‘hang onto’ the data from the older owner when creating filtered views. E.G.1: I reassigned objectives & key results what were initially assigned to OldUser1, to NewUser2. Yet, when I do a filter by owner OldUser1, which should be blank, it shows me NewUser2 newly assigned objectives E.G.2: Similarly, User3 has reassigned some of his objectives to others, yet when filtering for his objectives only, it brings up other objectives that are no longer related to User3. These also appear within his “My OKRs” view which clutters up his filtered view. I’m guessing its something to do with cached data maybe but just guessing. Would anyone know of a solution to this please? How to Ensure Email Digests are Properly Rendered in Outlook
I was blowing the dust off of my organization's 'All Company' community and, as expected, a handful of staff were emailed about my post . However, the email only included links to the post, instead of fully rendering the post so people could see the content, react and reply. Is there a way to ensure that all emails sent from a community fully render in Outlook? It's a great feature, but it doesn't seem reliable.744Views1like1CommentAbility to schedule a Yammer / Engage post
Hey folks, I hope you are doing well. It would be great if we could schedule our posts (like on LinkedIn). There is already an idea posted https://feedbackportal.microsoft.com/feedback/idea/b21a1955-2f6f-ed11-a81b-6045bdaf6a9e, so please vote. I can help with the requirements. Have a great week 🙂 DimitriFew Doubts - Viva Engage
Hello everyone! I have some questions about viva engage, I hope someone can help me. Is it possible to hide the "create a community" option, so that only a few users that I select can see it? How can I schedule posts? For us it's very important to know how, because all the communication we had on Facebook, we now do on Viva Engage. When I remove or add a member to a community (1 to 1 or by csv file), how can I turn off email notification? we don't want anyone to receive notification that they have been removed or added to the community. Is there an option we can configure to disable all notifications for all users? and then each one can configure it as required. Is there a way for the user to update the cover photo and profile photo? Regards, Sarai2.7KViews1like12Comments
