Hoping someone can shed some light on this as I can't find any documentation. For upcoming Teams meetings where we have added an agenda (loop component in Teams), we can view and edit that Loop component from the event in Outlook on the web, but not from Outlook desktop app. The desktop app only shows the agenda/loop component for meetings in the past. Does anyone have any links to documentation or information on when we might see upcoming meeting agendas in Outlook desktop? I know there are workarounds for this, but we have some folks not interested in workarounds. Thank you!345Views0likes1CommentTeams Adds Snapchat Lenses to Video Effects for Meetings
Teams meeting participants can now choose from 24 Snapchat Lenses as effects to apply to their video feed. It’s unclear how advantageous these lenses are to the efficient running of Teams meetings, but beauty is very much in the eye of the individual meeting participant. Some will find the Snapchat Lenses create a compelling effect. Others will be less positive. But across the 280 million monthly active Teams users, there’s bound to be some who absolutely love these effects. https://office365itpros.com/2023/04/12/snapchat-lenses-teams-meeting/4.1KViews1like2CommentsCo-Organisers
Great work with the Co-Organisers within Teams Meeting Options. Are there plans to also include the control of the Breakout rooms to Co-Organisers without the Organiser having to set them up first and give others control? Could this be added as a Check Box to the Meeting Options? It's very annoying when the Organiser hasn't given others Breakout room controls and they lose connection whilst the breakout rooms are open and in use. Teams effectively take all members of the Breakout Rooms hostage. The only way to get them back is for someone to email all delegates and ask them to come back manually. I'm not always around to be able to log on as the Organiser and rescue the hostages! Can we have a button please 🙂External users only for meeting
Hello Team Gurus - We have partners whom with we did set up federation and allowed only their domain. Now their users are seamlessly accessing Teams participating and can access channels/Files/Apps. It's all working good. Now we have requirement to allow users (with their consumer emails or org emails) to attend Team's Meeting. Just Meeting. We do NOT want them to Chat/Channel/Apps/Files access. How go about this? Any resource or guidance much appreciated. Do we need to look into Guest or External Identities? Hi everyone, [Edit : see my response below, we don't think this is due to different versions, but due to a user being logged into teams on multiple devices] What I think we're seeing is a difference in teams desktop client versions causing calls to be dropped or terminated. The scenario Bob has Teams desktop app version 1.3.00.9267 Sally has Teams desktop app version 1.3.00.8663 When Sally calls Bob (8663 to 9267) then Bob answers the call and the call connects, and they can talk. BUT When Bob calls Sally (9267 to 8663) then Sally answers the call immediately drops Bob sees "sally ended the call" and Sally sees "Bob ended the call" , and they can't connect. Meeting invites work for both parties, and in some cases trying several times seems to allow the call to connect (still investigating this). Is anyone else seeing this ? The AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Teams\logs.txt exists but I don't know how to interpretSolved269KViews2likes23CommentsUnable to set "end appointments early" for Teams Meetings
Hi We recently enabled the Outlook o365 setting End appointments and Meetings early. However it seems this setting do not apply to Teams meetings created from Outlook or Teams. There are no such policy in the Teams Admin Policy interface as well. Anyone solved this by gpo, powershell or is it a feature that didn't find its way to MS Teams just yet ?Solved8.6KViews5likes4Comments
