How to disable/bypass/hide edit form that pops up after uploading new file in Document Set (SP 2016)
Hi, I have created a Document Set Content Type named "Contract" with 2 shared columns (Start Date, End Date). I have also created a Document Library named "Contracts" which use this content Type. I have created a new contract "Contract 1" based on the "Contract" Content Type then I have uploaded a word document within the "Contract 1" Document Set, then a Edit form popped up asking for updating the Start Date and End Date properties but these 2 properties have already inherited the values of the document set 's properties and I dont want values of these properties to be updated at the file level (I want them to be always the same as the values of the Document Set 's properties) So I am asking you if there is a way to prevent the user from changing the properties values of the uploaded document, so that they always stay the same as the ones inherited from the document set which it belongs to. Hi, We have tools (Basically CRUD operations in multiple lists across sites/site collections. Handles large amount of data and has lots of business functionalities/logic) that were built using jQuery and Datatables.js. We are planning to rebuild in 2013. Visual Studio/ server side coding is not allowed. Can anyone suggest which JavaScript framework (Angular Js1.x, Angular 2+, React, Vue/ Others) is best to use in SharePoint 2013? Difficult to get Node.JS/NPM/CLI on DEV environment. we have tried a PoC in Angular 4 using SystemJs-Manual mapping concept. But not sure how bundling and future upgrade will be if CLI/NPM is not used. Any suggestions please? Thanks, Puli
Can't view site Workflows anymore
Hi, My colleague who is developing site workflows in our SP 2013 on Premise site is not able to access the site workflows page anymore http://spsite/_layouts/15/workflow.aspx The last action that he did was he deleted a site workflow that was currently running. And after that he’s not able to view any site workflow anymore. I’ve also attached the log file that I got from our server and the correlation id is given below. I tried doing iis reset on all servers in the farm and asked him to clear his browser's cache but it didn’t help. Thanks in advance for any help.
