Hello experts I am facing an issue with my LOQ, whenever I am sharing my screen on microsoft teams to do a presentation or show some visuals from an app, the audience is unable to hear me. In addition to that, the screen share has A VERY LOW FPS rate even when using the command ctrl+shift+t. All drivers are updates, windows is updates, microsoft teams is updated and the gpu driver as well. To troubleshoot, I have reset the graphics driver, reset windows, reset the laptop itself with no luck. Even ran the teams application with rtx4060 instead of intel UHD graphic card. Please advise. For some reason on the classic Teams for Business client, there weren't many issues and I was basically able to use it perfectly. After the transition to the New Teams, my experience has been a little more interesting. Now whenever my coworkers share their screens with me, it's simply a blank screen. Not a black/white screen, but nothing shows up at all. It's as if the application won't retrieve the screen share at all. Potential solutions I've tried are as follows: Rebooted PC Reinstalled the new Teams app Cleared the Teams cache Had our admin enable org-wide full screen sharing Despite this, screens being shared to me won't show up. Others are able to see my screen, however. In addition, other coworkers could see each other's screens as well. It's a very confusing issue.875Views0likes0CommentsCan't See Screen Share in Teams
Hi, My daughters are unable to see their teacher's shared screen on Teams. We're using the latest version of the Teams app (downloaded through Google Play Store) on two Kindle Fire HD 10 (9th Gen). The issue doesn't happen consistently -- maybe half the time that a teacher is sharing their camera view. I've tried rebooting both Teams and their devices as well as deleting the cache on Teams for each device, but the issue persists. Other students don't seem to be having the same issue. Appreciate any ideas on how to fix. Thx39KViews0likes3CommentsMS Teams - When sharing screen on Android, I am unable to navigate, its as if the screen is locked.
Hello, I am trying to share my screen on my android device and have been having some issues. The screen share works, the person on my call can see my screen without any issues. However, my device itself is completely locked. I cannot swipe left or right, I cannot open my app draw or click on any of my apps on the home screen. The only thing I can do is swipe down my notifications bar. I want to share an app with a colleague and talk them through steps to train. I'm using Pixel 3a on Android 12 (latest version). Update I have also rasied this issue with Microsoft Answers: Link3.4KViews1like5CommentsA few of our users are sporadically unable to share their screen or view shared screen in Teams
Symptom: On a video or audio call a user shares their screen but the participants just see their profile picture. When another participant shares their screen everyone can see except the user in question. This is happening to at least two of our users. Things we have tried: 1. Clearing Teams cache (deleting folders from the %Appdata% folder 2. Updating to latest version 3. Complete uninstall/reinstall 4. Windows fully up to date 5. All drivers fully up to date 6. Made sure the applied policy in Admin Centre is the same for everyone (Global Org default, screen share available for internal and external users) 7. Approximately 3 million restarts of the machine 8. Disabled hardware 3d acceleration 9. Checked local privacy settings for meetings This only happens maybe 1 out of every 3 times but it's still unacceptable for the users in question. I can see that there are a number of other reports of this but no solution, other than to turn off the "New meeting experience" which isn't even available as an option anymore... Any other troubleshooting steps available for this?1.5KViews1like2CommentsScreen Share on Linux Build on Wayland does not work
Screen Sharing on Linux build on Wayland needschrome://flags/#enable-webrtc-pipewire-capturer to be enabled. I've seen this flag on all browsers based on chromium but not Edge, is there a particular reason? In a covid-19 world where online classes and meetings are very important, this flag might be the deal-breaker for many. Greetings All, After using MS Teams daily now for better part of the year, It seems like a new issue related to screen share has potentially surfaced after a recent Teams Update. Once a meeting has been joined, it seems like any new software(s) open during the meeting will not be available within the Screen Share 'Window's' Tab. Currently, we are forced to exit the meeting and re-enter as a work around. Upon rejoining the meeting, the Screen Share Windows Tab will be refreshed with the appropriate software to select, and share. Currently not a deal breaker - but painful during client meetings.I have recently reinstalled teams and cleared my local cache and the problem persists. Hi folks, i'm wondering if the teams screen share featuer isn't available by design in android enterprise work profile. (The Device is set up with a work profile, the teams app is running in work context. The user calls someone and want to share the screen. While navigating through the personal profile everyhting is shared correctly, once the work profile is entered the shared screen is only black.) When the problem occured the app protection policies wasn't in place. Thanks you in advance. 🙂Solved6.5KViews0likes2CommentsBrowser would crash when sharing screen.
As mentioned in the title, it would only happen when I am using Teams on my browser and logged in on my personal laptop. My personal laptop is a late 2013 model of Dell XPS 15 (9530) running on Windows 10. I have tried doing this across all 3 different browsers, the latest Chromium-based Edge, Google Chrome and Vivaldi. Regardless of which of these 3 browsers I'm using, the browser would just crash once I start screen sharing through Teams. Please do let me know what other methods I could try to further debug/troubleshoot or fix this issue. Thank you!3.5KViews0likes1CommentMicrosoft Teams Screen Share Not Connecting
I have scoured the internet for a solution to my screen share issue, but have resorted to posting here: I cannot even start to screen share without creating a call first which is what I am trying to avoid by sharing my screen (Sharing my screen is optional for the receiver who can flick into it at will rather than having to be in a call constantly and muting teams to avoid disturbance). It does not even connect, I have the black bar at the top with the 'Stop Sharing' red button, but the white text to the left of it says 'Connecting . . .' and then closes a few seconds later to no anvil I would really like to fix this issue as my school has given me access to teams and encourages us to use this, however discord seems to do just that aspect of teams better than teams (or at all) at least for me. I have cleared my cache, signed out, restarted about a million and pi times (the issue has been persistent for many weeks) and only have my personal windows 10 surface laptop to use/test this problem with I have also checked firewall, privacy settings, my anti-malware (Trend Micro), and checked for updates a thousand and -1 times. What can I do!1.7KViews0likes0Comments
