43 TopicsWill a partial upgrade retain the "with Teams" rights?
[edited] What will happen when doing a partial upgrade from O365 E3 --> M365 E3? The FAQ shows that when upgrading from eg. O365 E3 --> M365 E3, the customer can retain their 'with Teams' rights. [confidential document - snapshot removed} But how would that work with a partial upgrade for example? Partial upgrades in NCE create a new subscription line. Would it still be possible to do a partial upgrade to an higher SKU and still retain the 'with Teams' rights? Dear all last week, we received this mail regarding a tier 5 Sandbox and its pricing: I know about the upcoming price update as from October 1 but a) it is not October yet and b) this SKU was not announced to be increased at all. Is this a mistake in Microsoft's billing system? (almost impossible - ok, sarcasm off now) Thanks for your inputs cheers Daniel356Views2likes6CommentsPrice increase October - what will we get?
Dear community - and hopefully also Microsoft employees we are facing the price increase in October and do still not know, what prices we (our customers) our going to get. I have checked the October preview price list this morning but did only find a few SKUs in there. Am I missing something? Here is an overview of the "to-us-relevant" SKUs. Highlighted the ones I have found in the preview. Any other way to find correct information? Be aware this is Swiss Francs - so "your" currency/price will probably be slightly different. Also quite funny that the percentages of the increase varies quite a bit - I'll keep my sarcastic comments for me now... any input/help would be very much appreciated since we would like to tell our customers, whats going on... cheers DanielSolved858Views2likes2CommentsCustomer Insights - Environments
Dear all, we have a customer that is currently using D365 Marketing attach license and has two more non-production environments with the SKU D365 Marketing additional non-prod applications. However, they will need to transition to the new SKUs for Customer Insights. Do you know how many environments are included in the Customer Insights license? Our customer needs 1 prod and 2 non-prod environments running. We see that the additional non-prod SKU is not available in the new pricelists anymore so we are not sure if the Customer Insights includes more than 1 test environment. Thank you!Solved792Views2likes2CommentsDynamics 365 Operations - Order Lines licenses cannot be activated.
Hi Team, Unfortunately, we cannot activate Dynamics 365 Operations - Order Lines licenses via the Partner Center. According to the price list the licenses should be available. I have also searched for the product id but without success. Do you have an answer for me?3KViews2likes18CommentsCSP | Legacy Migration SKU to NCE
Hi all, Following the recentannouncementon the Microsoft-led legacy migration starting January 2024, we as an Indirect Provider would like to ask this: If a subscription is on a legacy SKU that has no migration path to NCE, how Microsoft'sautomatedmechanism will react and what NCE SKU will choose? On which criteria will the automation choose in which NCE SKU the legacy one should be migrated? Thank you in advance for your significant support. I have searched quite a bit - surprise suprise, didn‘t find any answer… Since there is an upcoming price increase, many customers are thinking about locking their prices now for 36 months (in our case, D365 F/SCM). Can somebody tell me, what happens to an existing annual subscription if we change them to triennial? Current one: Jan 1 2024 - Dec 31 2024 - I change it on August 25 to triennial. new end date August 24 2027? Thanks for your help (there is nothing in the NCE handbook nor on the learn microsoft page about „Manage term duration and billing frequency“) cheersSolved996Views1like12CommentsBridge to Cloud 2 Promo
Hello Everyone , We have a few cases where our CSP team allowed a customer to purchase the Bridge to Cloud 2 promo outside of a customer's EP renewal window as per the promos terms (ex. we allowed a customer to start the B2C2 promo 8 months after their EP renewal date) and we're trying to understand the EP costs ramifications of this come the last year of the promotion for these clients. Has anyone else had a situation where a customer's CSP promo purchase terms end date doesn't align with the EP renewals dates? If so, what's your understanding of how Microsoft will handle the last year's EP renewal when we won't have a screenshot showing a Bridge to cloud purchase with equivalent or greater value to cover the EP costs? We're concerned that we will get billed for the customer's EP for the last year and do not understand if we can let it lapse or not without penalties. Can anyone share their understanding in this case? Thank you in advance for any help or insight.D365 SCM/Finance - multiple companies in one tenant
Dear community We are facing a situation where different separate legal entities operate in one D365 Finance instance. All companies are in control of the same owner - so I believe technically this is possible to consolidate the installations. Question: how is the licensing (CSP/NCE) being done properly? I assume, it is done in main-company (Company A) tenant where the LCS project belongs to) and the subscriptions are being assigned to guest users (Users of Company B/C as external guests of Company A). Is this correct? I did not find any information about this in the Licensing Guide unfortunately. Thanks for your help Daniel1.7KViews1like8Comments
