Adobe Microsoft
Dear community, Alot of my users are getting a file not found error when opening links we send them to directly open the adobe files in SharePoint. Is there a Microsoft friendly PDF option that will allow a PDF to be edited in browser or in file to save back to SharePoint? We have Word, Excel and Autocad files that get combined (currently in Adobe) into a single file for editing. Adobe is not working well for us, as most know, to edit in SharePoint flows.592Views0likes0CommentsOpen and edit .pdf in document library - Has there been an update?
Hi, I have a flow that emails a link to a .pdf in a SP doc lib. Is it possible for multiple users to simultaneously click the link in the flow email, open and edit the .pdf together at the same time? And the changes they make get saved automatically similar to Word online?1.4KViews0likes1CommentHyperlinks in PDFs not following URI directions
Hi All, I want to ensure that links I add into PDF documents follow Microsoft URIs for various applications to open in App rather than browser. This is because the staff members using the documents require the full design features that are found in the app versions not browser versions. I can achieve this within other Microsoft applications (Office, Word, Excel, Visio) by putting the relevant URIs in front of them (e.g.ms-excel:ofv|u|https://etc...). When I have exported these documents to PDF however the URI part does not work. Does anyone else have a solution to this without moving all my files off SharePoint? We're having a problem with a SharePoint online modern library in displaying PDF files content. The user will navigate to the document in the library, and the content shows at first, and then a moment later the content of the pdf form disappears. One thing to note is that in both Chrome and Edge that this is presenting in the same way for another user. Even after clearing cache and restarting computer. For myself, in testing, it is only happening in Chrome and not Edge. I'm not sure if there are settings I am missing that is causing this, but would appreciate any help or thoughts in solving this.31KViews0likes23CommentsThe redirect after authentication trims the original URL's end fragment
What can be done to consistently navigate both the authenticated and the yet-to-be-authenticated users to the correct URL that contains a page fragment-ID? (scenario below) When a SharePoint Online user is provided an URL to a PDF document that is stored in a Document Library, and if the link contains a "fragment-id" as follows: .../file.pdf#page=9 Then the document will directly display for the user, page 9, in the browser. However if the user is NOT already logged-on to SPO, when the user authenticates through the logon sequence, the user is redirected to the following: ...file.pdf (fragment missing) And the page fragment in the original URL is missing from the end of the redirect-URL. Hello Community, I was trying to use the modern File Viewer web part to displaya PDF on a modern page. But for some reasons I just couldn't see any of my PDF file in the Site selector even I am 100% sure files are in this document library. I end up just copy and past the URLof this PDF to the web part, but is this how it supposed to work? Does anyone experience the same behavior here? Adobe is the default pdf-reader where I work, and that does not support IRM, so we get an error message each time we open an IRM-protected pdf file. I am testing the other options recommended by Microsoft, including the Azure Information Protection App. 1. Does anyone know if there is an Azure Information Protection Addon for internet explorer? When I install this app, I am able to open irm-protected pdf-files from open in explorer view (when I choose to open it with the Azure Information protection viewer), however, I do not have an addon in IE that can open the file in the browser 2. Any workarounds around this problem? Addon to Adobe?2.3KViews0likes0Comments
