Hi Microsoft Tech Community, If you manage operational data in SharePoint Lists, you know the drill: your data is accurate and updated, but presenting it visually usually means leaving SharePoint entirely or navigating away from the list itself. Whether it is exporting raw data to Excel, setting up and embedding custom SPFx web parts on separate pages, or configuring full Power BI reports just for basic charts, the process often feels like overkill for quick, everyday reporting. I would love to open a discussion around Graphify—a solution designed specifically to eliminate these extra steps by bringing instant, interactive charts directly inside SharePoint Lists. Why In-Place Visual Analytics Matter: • Zero-Setup Data Decoding: Automatically reads list schemas, column types, and formatted fields to generate meaningful charts instantly—no manual dataset mapping required. • Beyond Basic List Formatting & Web Parts: Replaces clunky custom web parts and limited list formatting options with dynamic visual cards right where your data lives. • 100% Native In-Place Security: All analytics render securely within your tenant; your data never leaves your SharePoint environment. • Rich Customization & Exporting: - Automated Trend & Performance Insights: Instantly highlight highs, lows, and distribution patterns across list records. - Custom Color & Column Controls: Align chart visuals directly with your list styling and brand palette. - One-Click Export: Save chart views as images or embed them seamlessly onto SharePoint communication and team pages. Try It Out: Interactive Free Playground Instead of reading through docs or scheduling a demo, you can test how the interface and chart rendering work in real-time using simulated list data in our live playground. Explore Graphify & Test the Interactive Playground Here: https://tenantforge.cloud/sharepoint/graphify Discussion Questions for the Community: 1. What is your current go-to for list reporting: Power BI, custom SPFx web parts, standard view formatting, or Excel exports? 2. Where do existing M365 list visualization options fall short for your end users? 3. How critical is keeping visual reporting in-place within the SharePoint List experience versus sending users to separate reporting pages or dashboards? Looking forward to hearing how other admins, developers, and power users are handling list visualizations!23Views0likes0CommentsMicrosoft Bookings: Already booked slots remain visible and selectable for some time
Hello everyone, I am experiencing an issue with Microsoft Bookings and would like to understand whether this is expected behavior, a configuration issue, or a known product limitation. The issue: When a user books a slot, the booking is created successfully. However, if another user opens the booking page shortly afterwards, the same slot is still shown as available for at least 5 minutes and can be selected. Only when they try to complete the booking, they receive a weird error message that asks them to "please try again" (see screenshot). Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a known caching or synchronization delay in Bookings, or are there any settings that can improve the refresh of available slots? How can I fix this? Any help or insights would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!49Views0likes1CommentTheme Not Available For Cengage Project

If you paste figures or tables from PDFs into PowerPoint for Mac, they may look pixelated when the deck is shown on a Windows PC (conference rooms, classrooms). This has been reported for years without a fix. Cause: PowerPoint for Mac stores the pasted PDF plus a small low-res backup image. Windows can't read the PDF, so it shows the backup. I made a small, free, open-source menu bar app that uses the sharp PDF already in the file to create a Windows-safe copy (name_windows.pptx). Your original is never changed. Drop files on the icon, or let it watch a folder so it happens automatically. https://github.com/Filhgd/pptx-mactowindows-fix Signed and notarized, macOS 13+. Feedback welcome, especially files where it doesn't work.29Views0likes0CommentsAutoUpdate fails trying to update old V3.11 of AutoUpdate on MacOS Sequoia 15.8.1
I have the latest version of AutoUpdate (4.85) installed on my Mac. For several years and versions of MacOS, every time AutoUpdate runs it fails to update AutoUpdate Version 3.11 with a "Check Error..." or Download error. I've searched for solutions but only find how to totally disable AutoUpdate. I want to remove whatever remnants of V3.11 are somewhere on my system so I can run the latest AutoUpdate without this failure. Any suggested fixes...? Hi everyone, I am looking for suggestions on handling an old OST file where the original Outlook profile or mailbox is no longer available. The situation is that an OST file contains important mailbox data, but Outlook cannot open it normally after changes to the user account or profile. This can happen after a Microsoft 365 mailbox change, Exchange migration, user account removal, or when an OST file becomes damaged. Since OST files are linked to the Outlook profile and mailbox that created them, simply moving the file to another system does not always make the data accessible. Before attempting any recovery approach, I would like to understand the recommended steps: Is there any Microsoft-recommended method to access an orphaned OST file? What checks should be performed before trying to recover data from the OST? How do administrators usually handle old OST files when the original mailbox is no longer available? What is the best way to validate recovered mailbox data? I would appreciate feedback from anyone who has handled similar Outlook OST recovery scenarios after Microsoft 365 or Exchange changes.196Views0likes4CommentsMac OS 26.7 and M365 Office Applications- upload block errors only on Office applications.
Mac OS 26.7 and M365 Office Applications- upload block errors only on Office applications. When making changes to an Office document like Excel &/or Word using M365 E5 license since September 19th, I have been getting a message stating "Upload blocked" in autosave, the file is being saved to a OneDrive connected services which has a capacity of 5 tb, having a total of about 860,000 items, about 3.2 TB, but the selected items to sync from the OneDrive application is about 180,000. This happens sporadically to only Office application files such as MS Word and Excel. The syncs in the bar menu of OneDrive all show sync and backed up with no errors. As per MS a M365 SharePoint library can hold 30 million items, and view is limited to 5000 items, and I have such libraries with about 20,000 items and I can access them online and have set views to show items in lists less than 5000. MS also states that OneDrive Business can sync up to 300,000 items only even if the capacity is 5 TB and the number of total items cannot exceed 300,000 items. (1) Does anyone know why a OneDrive storage which leases 5tb storage space can only keep 300,000 items, for it to function? (It’s pointless to lease 5tb and be restricted by number of items). (2) Sync is working for PDFs and screenshots but only Office applications are having problems syncing at times or saving with autosave with versions. When I researched with CoPilot Premium running several terminal commands it concluded it is a MS Office bug and MS Support cannot solve the problem despite opening several tickets. The agents as L1 will scope, then it goes to the backend team called “ Escalations” but there remains no solution for crippled services since past 11 days. OneDrive sync logs were provided as well as requested but no followup. (3) If these are hard limitations on M365 to save maximum of only 300,000 items has anyone considered any other cloud services to replace OneDrive for Business? Has anyone else experienced this in the past? Can anyone offer a solution for this? If OneDrive office applications are dysfunctional then how does one operate AI agents or any automation. Any questions please ask. Thank you.158Views0likes4CommentsMicrosoft 365 Family Subscription - Activation Issue
Hello Advice needed please. My wife has purchased a Microsoft 365 family subscription. She has emailed an invite to my Gmail account (apparently that is all correct). When I go through the steps to join, using my Hotmail address, I eventually end up at this screen. So, I am not able to activate my invite. I am on a brand new Apple Macbook Pro, so I know the issue is not the OS being out of date. I have also seen this update on the URL below, but not sure if that is the current blocker: https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/home/contact?SourceApp=smc2&ContactUsExperienceEntryPointAssetId=login.live.com Any advice would really be appreciated.
