Dear all, What can be the use cases/ scenarios for leveraging MS Bookings in LARGE CORPORATE ORGANIZATIONS. Let this trail be a reference thread for use cases/ scenarios. I am jotting down few ideas. Please add your views and ideas. We can run targeted adoption campaigns based on these ideas. 1. Sales/Pre-sales employees - to manage appointment with customers 2. For all employees - If they want to conduct knowledge sharing sessions 3. L&D, Training teams - To manage appointments for the programs 4. For Coach - To schedule their coaching sessions 5. For HRBPs - To make the employees aware of their available slots Sally_Richardson ClaireThirlwall Willem_Veenstra ainemeehan joeybaruchamdig Geoffrey McNaughton Gabriel_Valdez213KViews1like2CommentsHow to set up a booking with multiple staff?
Our office just switched to Office 365. I'm used to using calendar/booking software like Calendly etc. I find it easier to send people a booking link than to try to coordinate between multiple people. I need to send a booking link to an external customer but I need the available times to book to be where there is overlap between multiple staff members, and for when the booking is made, it alerts these multiple staff. For instance, I am trying to set up a meeting with an external client, my boss, and myself. I want the external client to be able to only book times that my boss and I are both available, and when they book I want it to include both my boss and myself in the booking. I tried to set up a booking and turned off the "choose staff" option, but instead of booking both of us, it only booked one of us. Is it possible to do what I want to do in the MS booking app?90KViews10likes35CommentsGroup Bookings in MS Bookings
I have a requirement to create a sign-up sheet for an event which comprises several different time slots, and for each slot there is a max of 50 attendees. I have used the Bookings app in the past for event sign-ups, although not with so many attendees. According to https://support.office.com/en-us/article/define-your-service-offerings-in-microsoft-bookings-4a1c391e-524f-48e0-bef8-185df3a9634b I can do group bookings by setting the "Maximum number of attendees per event" for a service. However, when I enter any number in the Maximum Attendees field and select "Save", that number is not retained - i.e. when I revisit that Service page, the field is empty, and I am unable to make more than one booking for that Service at any one time. Where am I going wrong?62KViews3likes52CommentsBookings URL
Hello, I have two questions related to the bookings published page URL. 1. I changed my business name and the bookings URL is still showing the old/original business name. Is there a way to update this? 2. Is there a way to create separate Bookings URLs for each staff member? Currently we have a business page set up and services with available staff. For our business use, we would like to be able to share links that would take customers to a specific staff members bookings page. We recently added a person to our team and I am trying to give them access to our booking calendar. I am an admin on the account and have turned on two product licenses for her - Office 365 Enterprise E3 and Business Apps (Free). We can click the bookings icon in her account but when we select the calendar we want to add we get a message stating "We can't connect to the booking calendar right now. Please try again later." We have been trying to add the calendar for three days and keep getting the same error message. As an admin, I have already added her as a team member to the staff section of the calendar, however when I try to add her hours in "availability" or list her as an administrator vs. viewer, the system says "Your request can't be completed right now. Please try again later." when I try to save. I have been getting this error message for three days, as well. Is there a reason the Microsoft system is not allowing us to make changes or add this booking calendar to her account?Solved42KViews0likes10CommentsHow to manage a bookings site after the owner leaves the organization
I have done a bit of digging and cannot seem to find this anywhere, so I thought I would try here. I am looking to find out if there is a way to easily manage Bookings sites after a sole owner leaves the organization. I understand that these sites all have back-end mailboxes but I cannot find an easy way to add an owner through powershell or through the Bookings pages even as a Global Admin. Any help or insight would be great!39KViews4likes14Commentsunable to change or set admin role for a staff member in Microsoft Bookings
Hi to all, We are having difficulty setting up Microsoft Bookings. We added staff members and everything works except for one member: we added the staff member wit the role of Administrator (in Bookings) and it changed to Guest. It can't be changed to Administrator. Though, for the other members, everything worked as expected: so we now have two users with the same exact product (Microsoft Business Essentials), same exact roles set up in the 365 Admin panel, but one of them can be made Administrator in Bookings, and the other not so. A third member, with a Business Premium account, is also set up to be an Administrator in Bookings without fault. Removing and re-adding the staff member didn't change this behavior. How can we resolve this? Is this a permissions/roles issue on a higher level? Can settings/rights for Bookings be tweaked elsewhere? We have been looking extensively for answers on the web, but didn't come across any lead so far yet. We don't have any setup for using powershell (yet, because of a non-windows environment), so hopefully this can be resolved via the Admin center somehow? Any thoughts/help would be very welcome... Thanks in advance.38KViews1like15CommentsIntegration of personal calendar with bookings calendar
A fundamental requirement to make the app usable is to integrate the user's own 365 calendar with the bookings calendar. Firstly I see this link suggesting that time can be blocked out when the personal calendar is full: https://support.office.com/en-us/article/Sync-staff-s-personal-calendar-with-Microsoft-Bookings-23ee9b4c-0241-40ff-b663-67a309c378f8 Unfortunately, the tick-box option referred to here isn't present on my roll-out. Why is this? Secondly, I'd like to be able to see the booking in the user's own diary - or, at least, to be able to see the Bookings calendar as a calendar set in outlook so I can overlay the two. Is there an option to do this?Solved37KViews0likes44Comments
