13 TopicsUpcoming Updates to the MSLE Program Structure
The Microsoft Learn for Educators (MSLE) program goals include helping educators integrate in-demand technical skills into their teaching and better prepare students for today’s workforce. Through the program, educators gain access to ready-to-teach Microsoft Official Curriculum, including courseware, assessments, and teaching resources aligned to industry-recognized Microsoft Certifications. MSLE also provides professional development opportunities, certification pathways, and a global community of educators, enabling faculty to stay current, collaborate with peers, and deliver engaging, real-world learning experiences. As we look ahead to the upcoming fiscal year, we’re making an important update to how the MSLE program is structured. What’s changing Currently, educators can participate in MSLE either as an individual educator or as part of an educational institution, with institutions receiving a distinct set of expanded benefits. Moving forward, we will no longer differentiate between these two participation models. All participants in the MSLE program will be classified as individual educators, creating a more unified and streamlined experience for our global educator community. What this means for you As part of this change: The majority of MSLE benefits will remain the same, including access to Microsoft Official Curriculum, teaching resources, and the global educator community Lab access will continue to be available, however labs will no longer be offered at no cost as a standard program benefit We understand how valuable hands-on lab experiences are for teaching and learning, and we are working to ensure continued access through updated models. Looking ahead We will be sharing more details in the coming weeks to support your planning as you prepare for the upcoming school year, including: Updated guidance on lab access and options Changes within the MSLE portal and program experience Resources to help you adapt your course planning If you have questions or would like to connect with other educators, we encourage you to stay connected via the MSLE Tech Community for support, discussion, and updates. Thank you for your continued partnership and for the important work you do to equip students with in-demand technical skills. Folks, I hope you're well. Its been a while (10 years precisely) since I last had my MCT credentials. I took a different learning path and pursued my PhD and meanwhile a lot has changed. The old transcripts, badges, certifications are gone The old portal is gone, and despite trying everything that I could possibly think of, I am unable to get my old credentials on the new portal (although all of my certifications are expired, but having no record of them means my profile appears as that of a beginner). Obviously, Access to MCT and LDC is gone. However, recently I decided to get my MCT renewed, and of course for that I must offer the course as per the requirement. One of my colleagues got our university registered as the Microsoft Academy and I am added as an Instructor (profile verified already). Now, the portal allows me to register for the course ( Develop Generative AI Solutions with Azure OpenAI Service, AI-050) that I am planning to offer in the upcoming quarter), but unfortunately, I have no access to MCT Portal (very obvious) and even to Learning Download Center (which is concerning, since I'm a verified instructor, and need the official resources to prepare and deliver). I was wondering if you could please point me in the right direction. Thanks Best Regards P.S. I still believe that miracles do happen, and every once in a while posts like this once land directly in Admin's inbox. Is it too much to ask for? probably. Is it impossible to get it sorted? Not really.Solved271Views0likes2CommentsMSLE AI Bootcamps
Greetings, I am wondering if anyone here has delivered training geared or related to MSLE AI Bootcamps specifically the Copilot Prompt-a-thon and Generative AI for Teaching. I'd like to know the experience to expect from such a delivery and an estimated preparation time, labs, etc. For reference, let's say you have to deliver Microsoft Copilot Prompt-a-thon Workshop for Higher Education Leaders for a client in person. Thank you for your inputs !88Views0likes0CommentsSkillable Labs for AZ-801
Good morning, All, I have a quick question regarding labs for the AZ-801 Cert. When I log into my MSLE account to create a course. I have AZ-800 as a course, but AZ-801 is not listed. I was wonder if MSLE does not offer Labs for the AZ-801 or is this something my college will have to request to be added to our course list. We started offering the AZ-800 & AZ-804. I do have a vendor for our e-books, and they do have their own Labs as part of the Book, but I would like to also Offer official MS labs, for my students. We also Teach MS-102 and MD-102 course, which I would also like to see if MSLE has those Labs as well. Thank you and Information. Hello, My name is America Cobb. I am a U.S. military veteran and wounded warrior. I sustained serious injuries from an IED explosion—including traumatic brain injury, damage to my left eye, shoulder trauma, and a robotic prosthetic in my right arm. Despite these challenges, I remain committed to national security and remote defense work. Years ago, while stationed in Germany, I was part of a Wounded Warrior Project unit that received a visit from Microsoft leadership. The CEO himself showed deep support for soldiers with cognitive injuries and mobility constraints. He offered jobs to many of us—even before we officially transitioned out—and provided special access cards for remote training. I was one of those recipients. Unfortunately, due to repeated hospitalizations and relocations, I lost that card and have been unable to reconnect with the program. I’m now trying to start from scratch and requalify for remote surveillance and threat detection roles using Microsoft Sentinel. I have prior exposure to the platform from my military service, but I’ve forgotten everything and need structured, beginner-level training. I’m willing to pay for certification or diploma-level access if needed. My goal is to work remotely in high-impact surveillance roles. I’ve already researched viable paths in: Remote Surveillance Defense Systems Security Missile Telemetry & Threat Detection If anyone here—especially someone familiar with Sentinel training—can guide me toward a structured path to learn and certify, I would be deeply grateful. I’m not asking for charity. I’m asking for a chance to re-enter the mission with dignity and purpose. I want to volunteer if possible at Microsoft remotely to gain experience at no charge. Respectfully, Wounded Warrior BA Oregon State UniversitySolvedQuestion about AI-900

Hi How can I enroll my students to take the module AI-900 and get them examined for free? I used to do that 3 years ago when these modules were maintained by a training manager, but since then, it has become community-based, which is why I come to you with the question. I hope you can help me. I need to explain to students how to enroll in the module, how to use it and make the labs, and give them information about the free exam. Kindly advise Regards Dr. Amir Aly University of Plymouth, UKSolved1.7KViews1like24Comments
