Hi, Following the documentation, Configure desk booking - Microsoft Places | Microsoft Learn, I successfully ran the shared command lines without any errors. However, on Microsoft Places, I am unable to see individual desks appear; only desk pools are visible. Has anyone managed to get this to work? Hi all, since a couple of days I have to work with the ugly, annoying, awful, ... user interface in Office 365. The title bar size became horrible large. Compared with an explorer window from Win 10 it is nearly the double height. As an Office Poweruser (I'm working with the office products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook) unluckily the whole day) I'm looking for smallen the title bar again. There was a registry hack, but on my machine this isn't working anymore. Because of the ribbon interface and a lot of not needed functions this is how my Quick Access Toolbars (QAT) are looking like: Now somebody could tell my, "OK, switch the QAT to the top, so that the title bar get more sense! Problem is, that the monochrome icons are absolutly boring AND especially for Word I can't differ between my macros, which I set with different colours. The title bar is smaller because of the standard buttons and the search field, so that not all my most loved commands have space here Dragging the window can not be done with the title bar, as it was since the beginning of time. I need to find some space somewhere. Does someone have an idea to reduce the size of the title bar as it was before? Or does someone have an idea to colorize the icons, when they are inside the title bar? If I consider that the taskbar is also increasing in size, especially in WIN 11 where this isn't adjustable, both sides (top + bottom) in sum are steeling to many space. Cheers! Hey Team, I am trying to figure out what i am missing here. This is what we have. 2x Tenants with Enterprise E3 licenses Some user accounts are sync'd between the 2 tenants, not all users We have added a guest user, and we need his account to be able to access our Tenants teams. When he goes to the Teams Web Client, he sees his org and ours. However in the teams fat client, he is not able to switch from his home tenant (tenant.com) to our tenant (tenant-business.com). My question is how do i get our tenant to show up in his teams client? I tried having him login using his #EXT# guest account, but it requires a password. I have a Power Automate flow that is supposed run once a day at 7:45AM EST. Then Get items from a SharePoint list where the filter query is: ReminderOne column is less than or equal to the date when the flow was triggered and field_4 (Date and Time) is null. Next it should get the following columns and values from Get items: Site (Single line of text), PageURL (Single line of text), the email from Requestor (Person or Group with multi-select disabled), the emails from SiteOwners (Person or Group with multi-select enabled), and field_3 (Date and Time). From the values of those columns it should create an Excel file in https://xxx.com/teams/xxx/Shared%20Documents/xxx/xxx/. Lastly it should take that Excel file and attach it to an email- not as a link but as a file to download. The flow runs successfully, however, when I try to open the file in the folder its in or in the email attachment, I get an error that the file can't be opened.121Views0likes1CommentIntegrating Microsoft Groups and Team Channels
We have a Shared Inbox called email address removed for privacy reasons that is shared with me and a member of the company. I'd like to convert this into a Microsoft Group to use it internally in Teams Chat and receive emails in Outlook under the Groups section. I'd also like to create a channel where all the files we want to share are available inside Teams. So, is there a way to integrate a group as a channel in Teams, or is there a different approach?5Views0likes0CommentsMS Teams inconsistency
For the past few days, there have been continuous reports regarding issues with Microsoft Teams remote sessions, particularly with content sharing and voice quality (e.g., breaking audio). Does anyone have insights into the root cause of these issues? I’ve received several messages about this but have yet to find a definitive solution.34Views0likes2CommentsBlock users from creating Public Microsoft Teams groups
Hi Community, Is already know that Teams creation in Microsoft Teams is related to O365 groups, and if you would like to block users from creating teams, you need to block them from creating O365 groups, right? Ok, right. But what if we only want to block the possibility to create public teams, but still allow them to create private ones? Would that be possible? The answer is YES. And the solution is Microsoft Purview. You'll need to create a new Label/Label Policy under Information Protection. We'll configure the Label for the scope "Site, UnifiedGroup", with group settings as "Private" and applying the label automatically. Then we can configure/publish the Label Policy as mandatory for all the users, some of them or, as in my example, to a DL that contains all the users that I would like to block. Once published, depending on your tenant size, it can take up to 24 hours to propagate. In my test environment it was quite immediate. Now, the users added to the DL that I configured in the Label Policy can still create teams, but not Public ones ( and can't change the label ) as that option is greyed out. The answer is YES. And the solution is Microsoft Purview.14KViews0likes15CommentsHow to record the right pronunciation of your name in Microsoft 365 [Profile Card]
