Everything was working fine until about a week ago. We have stream videos on a sharepoint page. We then have the sharepoint page added to a team in MS Teams. Everything works fine if using Teams in the browswer, the videos play and all the links work just fine. However, on the MS Teams desktop app the same page doesn't work. All the links to stream videos tell us we have to sign in to see the content. I am a global admin and have access to all videos and links and it is still a problem. But again everything works perfect in the Teams in the browswer. It is like it is not passing the authentication of the person logged in the desktop app through to Stream to show the videos. I have done research and it appears others have had this issue in 2017 and in 2020(usually teachers) but no one has ever mentioned they resolved it. I am sure people have the correct security for it and we can go to sharepoint and view the videos just fine. Also, if we add the video to the stream app in the teams desktop it works. It appears to be only when the stream videos are on a sharepoint page and that page has been added to the team that the desktop app has a problem. Strangely this also seemed to coincide close to the announcement that Microsoft Stream will soon be called Microsoft Stream Classic as they are changing the way stream works all together over the next year.SolvedMS Teams Recording is not showing in Stream
I have a User that started a recording in a meeting he is the organizer for and everything worked as it normally does. When it was time to end the recording, he hit Stop Recording and he didn't get the normal alert that pops up asking you to confirm Stop Recording, it just went straight to Start Recording again. Then he noticed it say Recording has started in the meeting. Is there anyway to get that video recording back? I looked via the Admin view in Stream and saw the 7s recording he made after so I wanted to see if somehow the other video is still getting processed but not showing up in Stream? Thanks!I did not fully record our meeting on Microsoft Teams
Hi there, We had a meeting that started 3 hours ago and it lasted 2 hours. Our members forgot to record the meeting at the beginning and we remembered halfway so we only have a recording of about half the meeting. I was hoping maybe there is a temporary storage of the complete meeting video and if there is any way I can get a link to the complete record so that all hope is not lost. Yours, Sulaiman.SolvedStreams recording missing section
Hi I set up teams recording for a meeting that ended up being more that 8 hours long. I see that it was "automatically split" I'm guessing due to time; however there is now a big chunk of my meeting missing. Please help? I take minutes and have to refer back to specific discussions - now I cannot find it. Is there any way to prevent this "auto split?"How can a Teams meeting recording (not uploaded into Stream) be deleted before the 21 days expiry?
A Teams channel meeting recording is sitting in the conversations tab of the channel and needs to be deleted. Stream is not activated, so the recording is sat in the Azure Media Service for the next 21 days until it is automatically deleted. Is there a way to get the recording deleted manually?Microsoft Stream Recording owner not exist
Hi All, Some users left the company and they hand over the recording content to other users. But the owner forgot to give permission to secondary users (it's a private video). Error is "This may not be for you. It looks like you don't have permission to watch this ". Is there any way to access the video in Microsoft stream. Dear Everyone, I have been using Microsoft Teams from last two months for taking classes. I used to record the class and it used to get uploaded in the streams app automatically right after I end my session. Though, recently, may be from last 5 days, the recorded session are not getting uploaded from teams app. It says "recording failed to upload to stream app" and prompt us to download before 20 days. I am worried that my class and my colleagues class recording of recent days would be lost within 20 days. I contacted the microsoft service through mails and was said it was just a user interface problems and the video are being uploaded to the streams but actually are not being uploaded. Regards!
