Microsoft announced Loop integration with Jira. https://twitter.com/MicrosoftLoop/status/1691087283477229568 I have tested and it seems it will only work with Jira Cloud. Is there any possibility it will work with Jira Server also? Thanks!12KViews0likes5CommentsMicrosoft Adds Code Blocks to Loop App
A recent update for the Loop app allows users to create and collaborate on code blocks. The editor is very simple and doesn’t check syntax, but it could be a way for people (within a tenant) to collaborate and sketch out potential code solutions to problems. You can create Loop components from code blocks and use those components with Teams chat and Outlook messages, if you remember to stay within your tenant. https://office365itpros.com/2023/09/05/loop-app-code/7.8KViews1like0Comments🔃 How to synchronize Microsoft Loop task list in Planner and Microsoft To-Do
NEW VIDEO N. 354 There is a fantastic integration that involves the tasks list of Microsoft Loop, in fact, this one is not a normal tasks list but is fully integrated with Microsoft Planner and Microsoft To-Do. This means that you can collaborate and centralize your tasks list, every new task created in Loop will appear in Planner and To-Do and vice-versa. #Loop #Teams #MicrosoftTeams #giulianodeluca #remotework #remotelearning #Microsoft #corporate #tutorial #officetips #Microsoft365 #Planner #ToDo6.4KViews0likes3CommentsUpload a file/folder into a Loop page
Good morning, I have been reffered to this forum by a MS administrator in the Community forum. My question is the following: I have read in some replies posted a year ago that it is possible to upload files in a page in a workspace in Loop. In theory, there is a button to do it, and you can also drag and drop. But right now I don't see how to do it, if that button were there I don't see it. Is it possible now what I explained? How can I do it? I know I can add a link to my onedrive/sharepoint files, but it would be great if I just could have direct access to them insode the workspace. Thank you very much.5.1KViews2likes1CommentMicrosoft Limits Loop App to Microsoft 365 Product SKUs
Microsoft announced that the Loop app will be licensed for four Microsoft 365 product SKUs (two for SME, two for enterprise). Preview users that don’t have one of the chosen licenses are unaffected, at least for now. The licensing decision doesn’t affect the use of Loop components in applications like Outlook and Teams chat, but it is part of a trend to license new functionality in Microsoft 365 rather than the older Office 365 products. https://office365itpros.com/2023/09/28/loop-app-microsoft-365/5KViews0likes0CommentsHow to use the new Microsoft Loop features [NEW FEATURES 2024]

The Loop app is a powerful collaborative platform that has been handicapped up to now with a restriction on its External Sharing capabilities. That restriction is being lifted in a two-phase process starting in April 2024. Tenants without sensitivity labels will get the capability first followed by those that use sensitivity labels. https://office365itpros.com/2024/03/15/loop-app-external-sharing/4KViews2likes4CommentsHow Loop can keep organized your Teams recurring meetings [Loop Workspaces]
Microsoft Loop makes easy for meeting organizers to create Loop workspaces for their meeting members and pull in shared content in the chat such as meeting recordings, Microsoft 365 content (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Whiteboards, and so on), Loop meeting notes, Loop pages, and other shared content. After the meeting ends, organizers will be shown a prompt to create a Loop workspace, will be able to review and confirm workspace members as well as the shared content. After confirmation, a Loop workspace will be created, invites will be sent to the meeting members, and the shared content will be linked in a Loop workspace. As the group shares more content in a meeting series Teams chat over weeks or months, the new content will be added automatically to the workspace. Workspace members can also add other content to the workspace and can reconfigure the order of content in the left navigation pane of the Loop app.2.7KViews0likes0CommentsLoop policy is not working
I have enabled Loop in preview as decribed on Learn how to enable the Microsoft Loop app, now in Public Preview - Page 2 - Microsoft Community Hub. There is one member (myself) of the group that is connencted to the policy. In the policy is only the option “Create and view Loop workspaces in Loop” configured. In this situation, I shared a workspace with a colleague who is not a member of the group assigned to the policy. This colleague then had access to the shared workspace on loop.microsoft.com and was also able to create workspaces themselves. Even after disabling the policy, both the colleague and I were able to create workspaces. Another test was that the policy was disabled, I shared a workspace with another colleague and that this colleague had access to the shared workspace and could also create their own workspace. Then I checked with a colleague who did not have authorization through the MS365 group and with whom I had not shared workspaces and he was suddenly able to create workspaces as well. So it seems that the MS365 group and the policy are not doing anything at the moment. The option in the MS365 admin center in the settings for MS365 Loop (organization settings = > Microsoft Loop Preview) is disabled.Solved2.2KViews0likes3Comments
