While Microsoft 365 suites continue to be a great choice for delivering value to our customers due to their outstanding performance, scalability, and security, we recognize the critical ongoing need for on-premises deployments in certain customer environments. In our continued commitment to supporting these customers, Microsoft is introducing several licensing and pricing changes to our on-premises server products in July and August 2025. To support ongoing maintenance and updates for Microsoft on-premises server products, prices for all standalone on-premises server products (SharePoint Server, Exchange Server, and Skype for Business Server) will increase by 10% this July. Also in July, Exchange Server Subscription Edition and Skype for Business Subscription Edition will be made generally available. Additionally, prices for our Core Client Access License (CAL) Suite and Enterprise CAL Suite will increase by 15% and 20%, respectively, effective August 1, 2025. These changes apply exclusively to the on-premises versions of these products. There is no impact to pricing for SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, or Microsoft Teams purchased separately or through a Microsoft 365 license. Meeting the region’s needs United Way for Southeastern Michigan is committed to uplifting all Michigan residents by combating systemic racism, investing in children’s education, and supporting the basic needs of its community to create positive change. It does this by acting as a funder, advocate, and mobilizer, connecting partners and community members to essential services and resources to meet the region's needs. It also provides immediate food and financial assistance to families in crisis through its 2-1-1 helpline. In 2023 alone, it served over 660,000 individuals through its partner network, plus an additional 331,000 through the helpline. Employing 215 people across four counties, United Way for Southeastern Michigan is a hybrid company. And with its vast network of partners, donors, advocates, and volunteers, efficient collaboration is vital. We really wanted to consolidate what we were using,” says Sue McGuire, Senior Director of Information Services. With information stored across a variety of locations, the organization dealt with data redundancies that slowed its ability to locate correct versions of documents and track program performance. Partner in England helps customers manage clients’ Microsoft 365 licenses Based in Basingstoke, England, The Business Software Centre (TBSC) specializes in conversion, e-commerce, and ecosystem consultancy for Software as a Service (SaaS). For more than 20 years, TBSC has provided quick, efficient, and cost-effective software asset management. TBSC’s Smarter SaaS for Microsoft 365 app, available on Microsoft AppSource, provides important data for Microsoft 365 licenses. The app monitors active and inactive users, with the option to anonymize user names and data. Data can show usage of Microsoft 365 E3 apps, such as SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and Outlook, and present opportunities to increase it. License optimization can be achieved through reharvesting (taking an inactive subscription and redistributing it to an active user). The app also provides visibility into licensing compliance. These measures help companies fully utilize the licenses they're paying for. “Smarter SaaS for Microsoft 365 is recommended to our partners looking to manage their clients’ Microsoft 365 licenses,” said Phil Hames, Director of TBSC. “Our product is an automated, cloud-based service that ensures an improvement on clients’ Microsoft 365 investment. This allows for an opportunity to not only manage Microsoft 365 licenses but also build loyalty with clients, since partners can showcase how their organization can be optimized with Microsoft 365 usage through accurate and actionable data.” Continue reading here **Explore all case studies or submit your own**68Views2likes0Comments
