[Feature Suggestion] Show update history in Edge
Please show the update history in edge://settings/help lots of spaces left there, it helps to keep track of installed updates on the local machine. only show update history after Edge is installed on the system, not from the beginning of the time. Firefox has this and it's very helpful, specially for insider channel. I only want to see the time and the version number of previously installed updates on my system. you can add a scroll bar to the right side to scroll down/up when the history rows are too many to fit that area. When I try to search for a website that was registered in web history in Edge in the past, I can't get any results. Edge's history page doesn't automatically reload past histories to include them in the search this page: edge://history/all needs to be able to actively get older web history entries from our Microsoft account to make the web history search actually practical and useful. not only the past 2-3 weeks, but go back months. sent feedback using feedback button on Edge, if you like the idea i encourage you to do the same, that will act like an "upvote" for this thank youEdge Windows Search Integration - possible Windows 10 Timeline integration?
Microsoft Edge Version 91.0.831.0 (Official build) canary (64-bit) it's a Controlled Feature Rollout Share browsing data with other Windows features When turned on, Microsoft Edge will connect local browsing data from this profile with the rest of Windows. Turning this feature on will help you find information from your history, favorites, top sites and recent tabs more easily using features such as Windows search box. If you turn off this feature Microsoft Edge will remove the data shared with Windows on the device and stop sharing any new browsing data from this profile. Learn more I'm on the latest Windows 10 insider Dev build and latest Edge insider canary, so far I couldn't see any sign of this feature working, it's very new, just added to Edge canary. so eager to find out more about this. I personally would love to see Edge history appear in Windows 10 timeline, just like Edge legacy's did. It's very interesting, I submitted a feedback for the exact same thing 2 months ago.
How to clear "All data from the previous version of Microsoft Edge"?
Browser version: Microsoft Edge Dev 90.0.818.0 Operating system version: Windows 10 Dev 21332.1000 Steps to reproduce: 1. Go to "Settings"-->"Privacy, search, and services"-->"Choose what to clear", and open the "Clear browsing data" page; 2. Check "All data from the previous version of Microsoft Edge", and click "Clear now"; 3. Open the "Clear browsing data" page again and check the option. Expected results: The "All data from the previous version of Microsoft Edge" item is not displayed. Actual results: The "All data from the previous version of Microsoft Edge" item is still displayed, as shown in the figure:
