250 TopicsForms: Time input question
In Office 365 Forms, I am attempting to create an event request form. I do not appear to be able to add a question for TIME of Day. I see a template for DATE but not TIME. In Google Forms "include Time" is an option for Date Questions in the contextual sub-menu. Is there someplace to add this function perhaps that I am missing? Ultimately I would like to add a script to the form that would auto-create an Outlook Calendar event on a shared calendar at the date and time on the form submission.208KViews36likes98CommentsMicrosoft forms and external upload files possible?
Good afternoon, We as a company want to create forms that our customers can fill in with the data we need. Like plans and technical drawings. I hoped that it would be possible to create these forms, but when i try to add the upload file question I need to change the settings to only internal. Is there no possibility to create forms that have the request of uploading files from external parties we send the link to? Kind regards, Carina50KViews0likes6CommentsForms Questions Pulling Data From Excel
Hi everyone, I wonder if you can help me! I'm trying to setup an operational process between a requisitions form and a stock control excel spreadsheet. The excel spreadsheet lists all of our stock, broken down via mac address for each device (IP phones, modems, networking equipment, etc.). This spreadsheet already automatically tracks stock levels, as well as a few other things. I would like to setup a Form my team can fill in remotely where they can select specific devices for the warehousing team to then set aside for programing. This would automatically remove that device from the spreadsheet to more efficiently track stock levels. Is there a way to link a Microsoft From and Excel spreadsheet to accomplish this? If not, is there another way to accomplish the same goal? Thanks!45KViews0likes2CommentsTutorial: Where Are MS Form Attachments Stored Explained
This https://youtu.be/xMWDU2vIFTA will demonstrate where are MS Form attachments stored. Unfortunately, Microsoft doesn't easily use Tidy the ms forms file upload location directly on the MS Forms user interface. The answer is that MS form attachments are stored in Microsoft Onedrive of the author of the form. This MS form tutorial also outlines an important note about sharing access to the Microsoft Form attachments. Check it out https://youtu.be/xMWDU2vIFTA!34KViews0likes0CommentsIs there a way to send a MS Forms reminder to the people who haven't completed the survey?
Does anyone know of a way to send out a reminder to the people whom you have requested to collect responses from, within MS Forms? I am looking for an automated way to send out a reminder, instead of having to look through who has responded and cross-check with the list of people the MS Forms survey has been sent to.Solved22KViews1like8CommentsMS Forms Weighted
We have various surveys that we send to client using an external survey provider. I am investigating the ability to satisfy our needs by using MS Forms. One requirement we have is the ability to have a weighting tied to our questions as I have specified below. We would like to capture the scoring value in the Excel document behind the Form for easy tabulation. Can someone guide me as the whether this is possible? Thanks. Question: How was the quality of service you received? 1. Superior (worth 100) 2. Good (worth 80) 3. Average (worth 60) 4. Poor (worth 40) 5. Terrible (worth 0)18KViews0likes7CommentsCan you embed a Forms survey into an Outlook email?
Hi, For convenience and design considerations, I would like to incorporate a Forms survey with 7 questions into an Outlook email. Is this a possibility? At a later date, I would like to improve the output and distribute it around my organisation. I am seeking for improved ways to disseminate user-friendly surveys. Right now, the only option I see is the poll tool, which only allows for one question or stars. Or a hyperlink, which people are less likely to use. Thank you, Oliver17KViews0likes2CommentsQuery Forms API to get scores or results from form submission
Hello All, May be one for the Forms/Dev Community but thought I would try here. We have a process where 4 forms are submitted weekly (Every week has 4 new forms). We currently gather responses into a SPO list and feed that in PowerBI. A new requirement has come in that the forms (which are quizzes) also need to push the scores to SPO. We have done this with conditionals to check the text of the correct answers but the workload for this is unmanageable. I know there is a forms Api (undocumented) and we have successfully queried it to get the quiz questions, but these doesn't seem to be any info in there about the right answer. My question is, is it possible to query the forms API to get the response points, either total or per question? Included is the starting point, just need to know if anyone knows the URI to get what we need.11KViews1like18CommentsMicrosoft Forms notifications with shared form
Hello dear community, I have the following problem: I have created a feedback form with MS Forms. This should automatically insert its results into an Excel table available online. So far so good. But so that my colleagues also have access to this table, I have moved the form to a specially created Teams group (also so that the Excel table takes over all changes live online). Since then, however, no one has received an email notification when the form has been completed (the corresponding box is ticked in the form). Can anyone help me? Briefly about the initial situation: The feedback form should be completed by our guests and a group of employees should be notified by e-mail when a form has been completed. It is equally important to collect the results in a self-synchronising Excel spreadsheet, which our team must have access to. Both for viewing and for making changes. This is because responsibilities need to be assigned and comments made manually. As I said, the core problem is the non-existent e-mail notification as soon as I link the form to an online Excel spreadsheet. Is there a workflow for my problem or am I perhaps making a mistake? I look forward to your answers and thank you in advance. PS: Happy New Year!11KViews0likes5Comments
