Filtered data in Excel online are visible for all users
Hi all! Is it possible to see only my own filtered data in Excel Online? I mean when other users are working with the same book at that moment. At the moment, when someone filtered data - every one who edit the same document will see the same filters. I would like to know is it possible to avoid this. Thanks a lot for yours answers! Introducing Sheet View on Excel for the web, a new way of letting you create customized views in an Excel worksheet to sort and filter your data. You can filter to display only the records that are important to you without being affected by others collaborating in the document. All your cell level edits propagate through the file regardless of your view, so you can make all of your in-cell edits in your Sheet View, too.
"Filter by" in sharepoint list returning no results?
Some users on my team are having an issue with a sharepoint list. they are in a specific view (not all items) and are trying to filter by a people/groups column. when they select a user to filter by, they get so results, or in some cases an "invalid statement, ResultCode:1" error. Typically if they refreshed the browser, or closed and reopened it, the filter would then work. I tried out clearing cache with one user, and that seemed to resolve the issue, but not sure if that is temporary fix or what. The word filter in Windows 10 dictation is quite annoying, it blocks our ability to type anything we want. there needs to be a toggle to turn this setting off. there Is no word filter when we type something with keyboard, so it doesn't make sense to have word filter when we use speech to text. Is there an App to Search and Filter team members based on skills, attributes, etc.
I am currently exploring the possibility of using a Teams app or other programs to use as a data base for searching or filtering team members based on skills, certifications, knowledge, or even hobbies. Are there apps available that would work directly with teams? Similar programs that could be useful would be a more interactive organizational chart. The default behavior of Power BI is that every visual can filter any other visual. This is fine when the model is using import mode and all queries are very fast and cheap. With Direct Query we need to be much more careful about the number of queries generated and send to the backend source
