Filter hierarchical expression group
Hello I defined a hierarchical expression group - f.e. see below As f.e. a primary school is still a school, I would except that filtering by "school" shows the Documents tagged with "primary school" as well. But that isn't the case. How to proceed to use such hierarchical expression groups? "Filter by" in sharepoint list returning no results?
Some users on my team are having an issue with a sharepoint list. they are in a specific view (not all items) and are trying to filter by a people/groups column. when they select a user to filter by, they get so results, or in some cases an "invalid statement, ResultCode:1" error. Typically if they refreshed the browser, or closed and reopened it, the filter would then work. I tried out clearing cache with one user, and that seemed to resolve the issue, but not sure if that is temporary fix or what. Anyone else seeing this issue?Content Query functionality on modern SPO site
Hi all. I am wondering if there is a way to replicate the site selection functionality of the old Content Query web part, with the Highlighted content web part or something similar. With the old CQ part you could select the site you want to pull from and then filter from there. With Highlighted Content it doesn't give you the option to select another site to pull from, it's only within the current site. Is there anyway to pull in content from another site - and then filter it like you would with Highlighted Content? Thanks all. dB.
Category filter that does not apply to the news of some authors
We have set up for an internal site a news page with several web part News where the published articles are filtered by categories. Unfortunately the articles of some creators do not appear in the web part News. We tried with and without category filter and the problem is the same. The articles of the creators that work and the ones that don't work have the same properties. Do you have any ideas about the problem?
Calendar Overlays
I have created a calendar where customers can reserve time with me and my team for various meetings. I've created 2 overlays - 1 to show green when I have an open slot, 1 to show red when our time has been reserved. I cannot get the overlays to function properly. I know it has something to do with the proper filter settings, but I haven't found the right combination to make it work properly. Basically, anything with text other than "OPEN SLOT" should be in Red, while OPEN SLOTs should be in Green.Muli-level filter panel on document library not working
One quick question, I have used managed metadata on my doc liab with multiple levels of term-sets, however my filter panel is flat and not multilevel as it suggests. I want to make a page template with a highlighted webpart on it. The webpart needs to show relevant content based on the page title. What I would like the webpart to do is get the page title and filter the documents based on that so user don't have to manually populate the value field. Is there a way to make filtering dynamic and use the current page title as a value for filtering the search result within the webpart?
Filter UI shows ID SharePoint
Hello, in my company we started using SharePoint Online parallel to 2016 in migration preperation but noticed some strange behaviour. Since there is no open contact point for bugs, I tried it here. In the modern UI opening the permissions to the site there are still Visitors shown, but as far as I know they are not supported. Does anyone know if this is planned or if Microsoft removes support for this fully and corrects its UI? We had two issues filtering: - Opening the modern filter view does not seem to work when you are on a view filtering on e.g. a field "Author" for "[Me]". It just stays open with a loading icon. - Selecting filters in the modern view shows the filter values in the view hierarchy. We see them as IDs and also on the filter panel the filter values are replaced by their IDs. Is this also an UI issue on Microsofts side? I am trying to sort a list by the latest date before a predefined date. I need it to also sort on 2 other columns. Basically I need the last date entered before [Date] for each drop down choice Drop down Column 2 Date End Date - (latest record after a date) I found a few things online but I'm not sure where I would add this or what the best plan of attack would be. Filter(ListName,Date=First(Sort(Distinct(ListName,Date),Result,Descending)).Result) Any help or direction is greatly appreciated.
