UPDATE: The issue is Fixed. An error occurred while checking for updates: Failed to cache the downloaded installer. Error: 0x800b0109. (error code 7: 0xA043050D). Version 78.0.274.0 (Official build) canary (64-bit) Trying to update my Canary and i get this error. on my laptop which runs a non-insider Windows OS and Edge Canary i'm getting the same error. computer restart does not fix the problem.
Error Installing/updating New Microsoft Edge
I was trying to use google meet and it said that i need to update my Microsoft Edge browser. I downloaded the new update and installed it but it showed the error: "Failed to cache the downloaded installer 0x8007......" i don't remember the rest. I searched up the microsoft support page only to get more confused so i tried clearing my temporary files and tried installing it again and it is still showing error but a different one "There was a problem downloading the required files. Error: 0x80070070" Is there any way to fix this? Is my browser too outdated? I have the Microsoft Edge version 25.10586.672.0 Any help would be great[FIXED] Your session has expired Error popping up all the time! Edge insider Canary
I'm trying to upload a video at https://web.microsoftstream.com/ and I'm getting this error every 10 seconds which forces me to refresh the page all the time and won't let me get anything done. I have this behavior in both Google Chrome Canary Version 80.0.3965.0 (Official Build) canary (64-bit) and Microsoft Edge Canary Version 80.0.331.0 (Official build) canary (64-bit) sent it as smiley feedback along with problem recreateError on updating Edge canary: Failed to cache the downloaded installer. I'm getting this infamous error Failed to cache the downloaded installer. Error: 0x800b0001. restarting Edge or computer doesn't help. I can see the directory is created: AppData\Local\Microsoft\EdgeUpdate\Download\{ID}\83.0.473.0 for some reason my Fiddler doesn't show me the URL of the file being downloaded either. so I would like to fix this without reinstalling Canary 🙂An error occurred while checking for updates: Failed to cache the downloaded installer
