Version 135.0.3179.73 (Official build) (64-bit), Windows 11 Education, also occurs on Windows 10 Education and Windows 10 Pro, been testing this since probably version 129 of Edge. --js-flags=--noexpose_wasm as a launch flag causes STATUS_BREAKPOINT, this is regardless of default configuration and with or without extensions. WASM can be used to discover privileged information about a machine, and this seems to be working in the past according to some users online, but no longer does now. Please can someone advise?230Views0likes1CommentEdge error RESULT_CODE_MISSING_DATA or RESULT_CODE_KILLED_BAD_MESSAGE even in the settings menu.
After the KB5050021 (Windows 11 (23H2)) update, Edge stopped working. The same error appears on all tabs and even in the settings: Error code: RESULT_CODE_MISSING_DATA. I deleted the update, but Edge still didn't work. Edge only partially worked in compatibility mode with Windows 8. Does anyone know what the problem could be? Without compatibility, the error is either RESULT_CODE_MISSING_DATA or RESULT_CODE_KILLED_BAD_MESSAGE, and on any tabs and even in the settings menu. Edge Version 134.0.3124.93 (Official Build) (64-bit) DEV/BETA/CAN also don't work with the same errors. UDP. After the KB5053602 (Windows 11 (23H2)) update, Edge still not working. Is there a solution to this problem?294Views0likes0CommentsPage translation feedback/issues
Whenever I use the translate option in the right-click menu or in the right side of the taskbar it will translate the page to the desired language (e.g. Eng). However, if that page has an active live chat (e.g. YouTube) and I want to type into it in English, my text will bug out and translate my half-finished words to random English words based on the word it thinks I'm typing. It seems to detect unfinished English words as words from other languages and incorrectly translates it accordingly and instantaneously. This makes it impossible to type. I don't want my comment in the chat section to be translated. I wish it waited to be able to detect I am correctly typing in my own language.478Views0likes0CommentsError code: FACILITY_VISUALCPP/ERROR_PROC_NOT_FOUND
Since today I am getting this error in Edge Dev (version 102.0.1220.1). The entire browser has become unusable as nothing seems to work at all. All pages return the previously mentioned error, add-ons are crashing, bookmark menu is blank, opening the settings doesnt work, etc. I have tried rebooting my system and uninstalled and reinstalled it, which all didnt help. The normal Edge (version 100.0.1185.36) works normally. Is there a log somewhere that can shed light on the underlying issue?Solved16KViews3likes16CommentsAn error occurred while checking for updates: Failed to cache the downloaded installer

I'm getting this infamous error Failed to cache the downloaded installer. Error: 0x800b0001. restarting Edge or computer doesn't help. I can see the directory is created: AppData\Local\Microsoft\EdgeUpdate\Download\{ID}\83.0.473.0 for some reason my Fiddler doesn't show me the URL of the file being downloaded either. so I would like to fix this without reinstalling Canary 🙂Solved6.2KViews0likes12CommentsEdge Insider doesn't show notifications
I have noticed that Edge Insider isn't sending push notifications. I tested both Microsoft Edge Canary and Dev versions on https://www.bennish.net/web-notifications.html site and they both don't show notifications. I also tested Chrome Canary on the site and the notification showed up fine. I am running Windows 10 build 19037.Solved2.5KViews0likes10Comments[FIXED] Your session has expired Error popping up all the time! Edge insider Canary
