Reclamo técnico — Windows Update / Fallo crítico de arranque / Activación El 28/08/2026, luego de una actualización de Windows 11, mi instalación dejó de iniciar correctamente. La actualización involucrada es KB5120998, correspondiente a Windows 11 25H2 / OS Build 26200.9278, publicada por Microsoft el 27/08/2026. El sistema pasó de funcionar normalmente a presentar durante el arranque: DRIVER_UNLOADED_WITHOUT_CANCELLING_PENDING_OPERATIONS y posteriormente: STOP 0xC000021A STATUS_SYSTEM_PROCESS_TERMINATED El fallo persistió incluso intentando iniciar mediante Safe Mode (F4) y Safe Mode with Networking (F5), por lo que no se trataba de un problema de una aplicación o proceso de inicio del usuario. Se realizó un proceso completo de recuperación utilizando Windows Recovery Environment (WinRE) y reparación offline de la instalación. Durante el diagnóstico se identificaron problemas en el Component-Based Servicing (CBS) / Component Store. Los intentos de reparación con DISM no pudieron completarse correctamente y se obtuvo: 0x800F0915 CBS_E_REPAIR_CONTENT_MISSING Entre los componentes involucrados se identificó: wow64_microsoft-windows-errorreportingcore 10.0.26100.9278 También fue necesario intervenir sobre la configuración de arranque UEFI/EFI para intentar recuperar el sistema. La recuperación de la instalación original finalmente no fue posible, por lo que, después de agotar los procedimientos de reparación, fue necesario formatear y reinstalar Windows. La reinstalación tuvo que realizarse dos veces, ya que la primera instalación presentó problemas al intentar recuperar la configuración/cuenta anterior. Por lo tanto, el incidente produjo la siguiente cadena: KB5120998 ↓ Windows 11 25H2 / Build 26200.9278 ↓ Fallo durante el arranque ↓ DRIVER_UNLOADED_WITHOUT_CANCELLING_PENDING_OPERATIONS ↓ 0xC000021A ↓ Safe Mode también falla ↓ WinRE / reparación offline ↓ CBS / Component Store: 0x800F0915 ↓ Recuperación UEFI/EFI ↓ Imposibilidad de recuperar la instalación ↓ Formateo ↓ Dos reinstalaciones de Windows Actualmente existe además un segundo problema: la licencia original que estaba funcionando en este mismo equipo ya no es validada después de la reinstalación. Windows devuelve: 0x803FA067 También intenté utilizar el mecanismo de activación mediante Installation ID, pero el sistema/web de activación de Microsoft tampoco reconoce correctamente dicho identificador.
Win11 Laptop enters Connected Standby instead of Sleep when closing the lid
When you close the laptop lid, the device enters a networked standby state rather than the traditional sleep state, which means the battery continues to drain even when the device is idle. The device is not completely shut down, and network traffic may remain active during standby. Setting the power button to sleep mode does not change this behavior. You can verify this by running the powercfg /a command; the system supports standby mode but does not support the traditional S3 sleep mode.
The Windows 11 search bar isn't working; the cursor keeps refreshing every second.
I'm using a new Windows ARM laptop, the Samsung Galaxy Book 4 Edge, and it suddenly started acting up. The taskbar won't open, and the cursor is refreshing every second, as if it's constantly reloading. This issue started after a restart and still hasn't been resolved. I've installed all available updates, restarted File Explorer via Task Manager, and even tried ending the Search process. When you manually install a font file using the Install option in File Explorer or the Install for All Users option, the font appears in the Fonts folder but disappears from the application's font selection list after a restart. Although the .ttf or .otf files remain in the Fonts folder, these fonts will no longer be selectable in applications unless you reinstall them. Reinstalling the fonts after each startup provides a temporary solution to this issue.
Taskbar disappeared on Windows 11 – restarting Explorer didn't help
I booted up my PC today and my taskbar is just... gone. Completely missing. I've already tried restarting Windows Explorer through Task Manager, but that didn't bring it back. For the past two weeks, I've been seeing something odd with Windows Security. Right after I start my PC, the icon in the taskbar shows a yellow warning symbol, like there's something that needs my attention. But when I open it, everything is green—no actions required. If I just leave it alone, the warning disappears on its own after about a minute and turns back into the normal green checkmark. I'm only using Windows Defender, no third-party antivirus. Help! Almost new computer keeps freezing randomly.
Hi! I would like to have some assistance please. I have an almost new computer that keeps freezing randomly whenever I use the browser, when I'm listening to music, or when the computer is idle for some time. Something important to say is that whenever I'm playing a game, the computer never freezes. The same happens while watching a movie. I can keep playing videogames or using the movie player and the computer does not freeze. But if I'm playing music only while I do other stuff without the computer or if I'm watching a video on the browser (chrome or brave) or just surfing on the web, with or without music in the background, the computer can freeze minutes or an hour after I started doing these activities. Another important thing to say is that, when the computer freezes, I'm unable to do anything but the audio is still running. For example, if I'm playing an online video, the video stops, but the audio is still playing. The same happens with the music. Music continues playing until the song ends, everything else is frozen in the meantime, and when the song ends, no more audio is played.
Second-hand laptop stuck in previous owner's Windows Autopilot tenant – how to reach human support?
Hi, I'm trying to find the correct human Microsoft support team for Windows Autopilot deregistration. I own a second-hand Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga Gen 6 which I purchased on eBay on August 6, 2023. I used Linux on it for the last few years, so I only discovered the problem now after installing Windows 11 Pro. During OOBE, the laptop downloads an Autopilot profile belonging to a previous organization and forces organizational enrollment. Autopilot diagnostics confirm: CloudAssignedForcedEnrollment = 1 IsForcedEnrollmentEnabled = 1 DeploymentProfileName = CSE Autopilot Pilot I have no relationship with the previous organization and no access to its tenant. The eBay seller is no longer active. I contacted regular Microsoft Windows Support. I provided: eBay purchase/order confirmation signed bank transaction device serial number screenshots Autopilot.cab diagnostics Support acknowledged that I own the device and that I cannot remove the registration myself. However, instead of escalating the case, they repeatedly directed me to Autopilot deployment documentation, Feedback Hub and Tech Community. Microsoft's documentation says that a device permanently leaving an organization should be deregistered from Windows Autopilot. I have also found Microsoft Q&A cases suggesting that Commercial/Intune Support can review inaccessible-tenant deregistration cases after proof of ownership has been verified. My question is simply: how can a private end user actually reach a human Microsoft Intune/Autopilot support engineer who can review and escalate this? I do not have an Intune tenant or access to the previous organization's tenant, so I cannot open a support request from their Intune Admin Center. I am not asking for a way to bypass Autopilot. I am asking for the legitimate device ownership to be reviewed and the stale Autopilot registration to be removed from Microsoft's service. I just finished building my first computer. I installed Windows 11 and used a USB drive to install all the drivers needed for the B650 AORUS ELITE AX motherboard. I thought everything was set. But there are still absolutely no wireless network options. Neither the Wi-Fi adapter nor any other related options are showing up. This problem has been plaguing me for a week, and I’m at a loss. Does anyone know what I might have overlooked?
