Hi There, microsoftTeams.authentication.authenticate works perfectly on teams web client but not working on the teams desktop client, Tried many workarounds suggested by ms community, async, using promises but nothing is worked. calling authenticate following microsiftTeams.initialize() is opening a browser tab instead of a desktop client popup Any workaround for this? Is there a way to debug MS-teams desktop client? Teams SDK : Pernille-Eskebo/teams-js: 1.8.0 Angular 8 microsoftTeams.authentication.authenticate works on web client but not on the desktop client3.1KViews1like4CommentsNo MoH from SBC when transferring
Found an interesting scenario that breaks your SBC MoH for call transfers. If you are using the Teams desktop client to answer calls, and you happen to put a call on hold and then resume it, you will then no longer receive re-invites from Teams when you press the Transfer or Consult then Transfer buttons for the rest of the call. This means your SBC has no idea that it is meant to start the local playback of its local MoH file for transfers. This will only happen if you put a call on hold and resume it before attempting transfers. If you attempt a transfer without using hold beforehand then there is no issue. It seems that Teams no longer sends re-invites for calls that are placed on hold and resumed in the desktop client, but then it forgets that it's meant to do it if you want to transfer the calls afterwards. Not and issue on the Poly CCX 400 desk phones that I tested with as they still send re-invites for call hold and resume. Has anyone else come across this and is there anyway to change the Teams behavior of no re-invites for Hold and Resume with the desktop clients? I have tested this on 2 separate Teams tenants with SBCs from different vendors for validation.1.3KViews1like0Comments401 Unauthorized loading badge images in Teams
I noticed that when someone sends badges, the images associated with them do not come through. I loaded up Fiddler and found that when trying to load the image from https://urlp.asm.skype.com/v1/url/content?url=https%3a%2f%2fstatics.retailservices.teams.cdn.office.net%2fui%2fstatic%2fpraise%2fring4%2fall%2fassets%2fbadges%2fen%2fAwesomeBadge.c983e76c68.png I get a 401 unauthorized error: HTTP/1.1 401 Unauthorized Content-Length: 61 Content-Type: application/json; charset=utf-8 Server: Microsoft-HTTPAPI/2.0 Strict-Transport-Security: max-age=31536000; includeSubDomains X-Content-Type-Options: nosniff Date: Wed, 29 Jul 2020 22:59:43 GMT {"Message":"Authorization has been denied for this request."} However, loading that from a browser does a redirect to https://urlp.sfbassets.com/urlpcdn/eus1/contentapi1/b491612d-726d-4e1c-928b-d5acd1865ec7 and the image loads just fine. Has anyone else seen this issue?3.9KViews0likes3CommentsChannels missing in Calendar on the desktop app.

Hey Everyone 🙂 I am working with some people and one of our guys cannot get the "Request Control" feature to work. Everyone else can use the screen control feature. It seems to be related to his account somehow because when he signs out of teams on his mac then we sign in as a different user the screen control works fine. And when we go to another users computer, who's screen control has been workign the whole time, have them sign out and then sign him in on their teams client, he still cannot control anyone's screen. So on two different Mac's we have the same issue of This user cannot control screens while anyone else's account can control screen using the same client. I checked meeting policies and such but there are no special setups all the users are applied under a single policy.1.5KViews0likes3Comments
