With the announcement that as of April 1st, partners can no longer sell net-new purchases of enterprise products, M365 E3/E5, Office 365 E3/E5 with Team included, will this also apply to a customer going through a merger where they are consolidating from two tenants into a new tenant? Thanks MarkSolvedLicensing Multiple viva connections with "Microsoft Viva Employee Communications and Communities"
Hello, I have a customer that wish to use multiple viva connections for different countries in the company. While checking the license requiriment they seem to need "Microsoft Viva Employee Communications and Communities" license for 2 or more viva connections experiences. Do i need to license users in group 1,2,3 or only in group 2&3? Setup is as followed: Viva connections 1: Country 1 (main country) Audience to only Country 1 (group1 assigment.) Country 2 Audience to only country 2 (group2 assigment) Country 3 Audience to only country 3 (group3 assigment)SQL Licence for Configuration Manager
Hello, we are CSP Partner in germany and one of our customers (they have M365 E5 licenses) wanted to install the Configuration Manager regarding to this article https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/configmgr/core/understand/product-and-licensing-faq So we asked our CSP Tier 1 Partner to get an License Key for the Configuration Manager as it is described here: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/configmgr/core/understand/product-and-licensing-faq#i-have-purchased-ems-or-microsoft-365-through-a-cloud-solution-provider--csp---do-i-have-rights-to-use-configuration-manager- Then we got an Key from MS-Support, but to get the Configuration Manager fully running he also needs an Licence for the SQL Standard Server. At this point the MS Support only provided us some key which are not working (I think because the support send us static keys for SQL Server 2017 and our customer tried to install 2022). So who can help me to get the right keys for our customer? The MS-Support can't help here anymore and he archived the ticket... ThanksCSP: renewal of Dynamics subscriptions for retired SKUs
Hello, As a CSP indirect reseller, I have a question regarding the renewal of Dynamics subscriptions for clients. In two cases, I have a subscription for a Dynamics product that is no longer listed in my supplier’s price list. What will happen during auto-renewal? Are these products still renewable? Specifically: Dynamics 365 Customer Voice: I understand that a change was made by Microsoft in October 2023. Can this reference be renewed, or should I consider an alternative? Dynamics 365 Marketing Attach: With the introduction of Customer Insights, can I renew this subscription? Thanks. How to verify price changes on deprecated SKUs
I got triggered to ask my question due to this announcement:January 2024 announcements - Partner Center announcements | Microsoft Learn. So I got a hypothetical question regarding pricelists, price changes and deprecated SKUs. When we purchase a SKU now, which will being removed from the pricelist in the future (being deprecated), how can we verify new prices when price changes are applied? Example: - We purchase a M365 E3 (with Teams) SKU now. - This SKU is being removed from the price list from 1st of February as it's being deprecated. - And Microsoft applies a +5% price increase in September due to currency exchange rates (note; this is just hypothetical, no announcements were made to change the prices in September). - How can we verify the new purchase and ERP prices, if the SKU is not listed on the price list anymore? Of course we can calculate ourselves what a +5% price increase would look like, but how can we make sure what the real/specific prices would be? Hope anyone can give us some insights on it. Cheers, MartijnDynamics 365 BC - Affiliates
Company A (parent company), Company B (Subsidiary of Company A) and Company C (Subsidiary of Company A). Company B and Company C owned 100% by Company A. The case is companies who will use D365 BC SaaS only Company B and Company C, since both have similar business they want to have one D365 BC SaaS tenant, same instance and same database. Need advice for: a. If Company B subscribe D365 BC license both for themselves and Company C and put all the license under Company B tenant, whether it will be considered as Affiliates? b. If Company B subscribe D365 BC license for themselves and Company C D365 BC license for themselves but Company C want to put the license under Company B tenant, whether it will be considered as Affiliates? I have read Definitions of Affiliates in Microsoft Customer Agreement, but cannot find the example of Affiliates. Affiliates. Customer may order Products for use by its Affiliates. If it does, the licenses granted to Customer under this Agreement will apply to such Affiliates, but Customer will have the sole right to enforce this Agreement against Microsoft. Customer will remain responsible for all obligations under this Agreement and for its Affiliates’ compliance with this Agreement. “Affiliate” means any legal entity that controls, is controlled by, or is under common control with a party. Statement “entity that controls” and “legal entity is controlled by” are clear enough, but for “legal entity is under common control with a party” whether it can be applied to scenario a or b or a and b?How to pay lapsed fee for Bridge to Cloud Promo 2
Dear community We took over an AX 2012 Customer who migrated this year to D365FO. During the implementation phase (starting end 2021), Cloud Migration Promo was being used for 20 Users. At Go-Live (last month), the other users/subscriptions were being bought with the Bridge to Cloud promotion. Only now we realised that the customer was not with an active BREP anymore (BREP was being sold by another partner and not renewed). According to the guidelines, a lapsed customer has to pay lapsed fees ("..Customers with lapsed EP plans (beyond a 30-day grace period) seeking to enroll in this promotion must pay "lapsed fees" from their EP plan expiration date to the present..") Does anybody know, how/if it is possible to start this process? Or is the customer not eligible because they had the Cloud Migration Promo at time of the upgrade start (20 users)?
