Hello! I have been getting an error message "Bad Request" whenever I click on a meeting invitation in my Inbox within the Outlook Web Access / OWA Light Interface https://outlook.office.com/owa/?layout=light This happens within Mozilla Firefox and Microsoft Edge, in private and non-private windows. Has anyone else experienced this? Or know how it can be fixed? Thanks!3.8KViews2likes9CommentsDelete a specific calendar event
Hi, i want to delete a specific calendar event using PowerShell. Since the "Search-Mailbox" Cmdlet is outdated and the "Remove-Calendar" Cmdlet is only showing or deleting events in a period of time, i don't know how i am able to delete one specific calendar item. For example: Someone organized meetings on friday where one is called "Test123" and if i put the command in: Remove-CalendarEvents -Identity "email address removed for privacy reasons" -CancelOrganizedMeetings -QueryStartDate 21.12.2023 -QueryWindowInDays 3 -PreviewOnly -Verbose I even get the SubjectProperty with "Test123" and the other meetings, now i want to delete just the "Test123". Is it possible somehow? Thanks in advance!3.5KViews0likes5CommentsMicrosoft Forces Outlook Update
Today, Microsoft is forcing users to update to the New Outlook. The old Outlook is currently not offering the focused email option. Access to Public Folders has been removed. We have posted the importance of Public Folders to businesses in the forums many times. Businesses use the Public Folders to allow team members to share project related email. This has worked great since at least 2011. If they are going to remove access to this email, why hasn't Microsoft offered an alternative? Microsoft should be finding ways to allow teams to better collaborate, not remove applications that achieve better sharing of information. I have used and been a fan of Microsoft products since 1982 when I started my business with an IBM PC. Microsoft is becoming more like Apple all the time, as if they know better what businesses need, and ignore what their customers are requesting. That is a huge disappointment.2.1KViews0likes3CommentsNew Release: Share with Review Mode
StephenRice and I are excited to announce that the feature for sharing a document to Open in Review Mode Only is now available to 100% of our Production Users! We would love to hear your feedback on the feature or how it might have landed in your organization! When users share a Word document, you’ll find a new option in the Link Settings page to enable the Open in Review mode feature. When users share a Word document, you’ll find a new option in the Link Settings page to enable the Open in Review mode feature. This feature is only supported for Word on the web at this time. Users who open links with these settings in the Word desktop app will see a bar across the top of the client letting them open the file in Word on the web to leave behind tracked changes and comments. Let us know if you have questions, thoughts, would want to see a certain improvement or think it would be specially useful for certain departments in roles in your organization. Hello All, I have a large set of older pre-existing Shared Mailboxes that need to have their meetings migrated to a new MTR (Microsoft Teams Room) Resource Calendar. I believe this can be done simply by inviting the new room resource to the existing meetings. However, we have a large volume of meetings in each shared mailbox that will need to be migrated. Could someone point me in the direction of the best practice (for example) adding an attendee to all of the individual meetings in a Shared Mailbox Calendar. These old/new mailboxes are being rebuilt on a one-to-one basis so I'm hoping that we could build some basic scripting automation. Thanks for your time, je1.1KViews0likes1CommentComment Tags notifying other non-associated members as well
Some of our staff periodically get notification emails of comments left on particular documents in SharePoint randomly. e.g You comment tag person2 but person3 also gets a message about it, even though they don't have anything to do with the document. At the moment it seems to only be affecting one particular member enough that they email me about it every time, they don't want it, happens every other day. I've read something about turning off One Drive or SharePoint page notifications but they still need notifications for when they're tagged in documents, it says they're batched separately however they don't have independent toggles. Other places say or show @mentions as separate to comments, but has that since changed? Support page demo below I'm sure its just that they're subscribed or following changes on a document or something like that, but I can't figure it out.1KViews0likes0CommentsList document attachments downloading instead of opening in native browser
I noticed today that attachments in a list we use for collaboration are downloading instead of opening in the native browser. I saw a solution in another thread to add the qualifier ?web=1 to the end of the end of the URL, which works, but is not an acceptable solution for my users. We tested this in IE, Chrome, and Edge - same results. Documents in the libraries we use for collaboration are still opening in the native browser, except in Edge. This may be due to us having an old version of Edge, but I worry that this is a change Microsoft is implementing. This would defeat the entire purpose of Office 365 for us. Is this an intended change? Can I automate adding the qualifier to the attachment URL? Thank you.825Views0likes0CommentsHow to use modern controls in Power Apps
