I created a Microsoft form and selected the share option " Share to collaborate" and chose the "Anyone with this link can view and edit". I then copy the link provided and forward to an external user, when the external user clicks on the link they are taken to a Microsoft forms webpage which requires a login. This feature was working a few weeks ago.(meaning the external user was not required to login) Has Microsoft made changes to this function? I have also verified the Admin center setting for Microsoft Forms and currently have one option "External collaboration People in my organization can share an edit link and a summary of responses to a form with external users." which is turned on. Any ideas?98KViews1like10CommentsHow can you lock down a Form once live?
Hi, I've tried to search for this issue but not really finding the correct answer... In Forms how can you 'lock' a form or a quiz in to a final version so that once you have shared the link, the form/quiz cannot be amended? As it stands, I set up all of the forms/quizzes within my firm and therefore I am my own safeguard that nothing is being edited and amended on a live form. However, in case of illness, I have been asked to start sharing these files so that someone else could pick them up. When I have used the 'Share to collaborate' link, the person that the file has been sent to can edit the file (as intended by it's functionality) BUT I want the form/quiz to be un-editable after it has gone live? Hello, I have a user that is trying to share a form to collaborate with someone outside of our organization. We have the option turned on to allow people outside the organization to collaborate, but when she sends the link out, it is asking the user outside of our organization to log in with a Microsoft account. Does the person on the outside of the organization need to have an Office 365 account to collaborate? We can't get the share to collaborate to work with anonymous users. Thanks!2.6KViews0likes1CommentCollaboration links not working
I've had two users in my organisation try to share collaboration links with me this week but when the links are clicked, it just sends to my own Forms homepage. The Forms don't show up in my "Shared with me" tab and I can't access them if I just paste the Form ID into an edit mode URL. Have tried this with permission levels within my organisation and anyone can edit. Has anyone else had similar problems and knows of a solution.2.3KViews0likes1CommentMicrosft Forms Permissions
Hello, We created a form for people to RSVP for an event. We shared the link with our invitees. Some individuals when they follow the link will see other peoples answers displayed in the question fields instead of the prompts we created. Furthermore, one individual opened Forms on their computer and saw that they had editing permissions to our form. How could this have happened and is there a way to remove people from what appears to be an editing permission? Thanks!1.3KViews0likes6CommentsStrange random behavior shared forms
Since a week or so we see and hear strange behavior with Forms. When I create a new form I'm sometimes able to share with people outside my organisation and one moment later I'm not (it's greyed out). When you look again a hour or so later it's posible we can share again. If shared, people outside and inside the organisation can have random issues. -Some internal users who have a Forms Pro Trial license cannot open the link (you can see in top of the screen Forms Pro opens). When I disable the trial license the link does open. -External users cannot open the form. The see the message (translated from Dutch) Something went wrong: External users cannot anwser this form because of IT policy. The strange thing is that when they try multiple times it sometimes does open. When filling the form they get a message: disconnected from server. I'm completely lost what to do. It worked fine till now...1.3KViews1like1Comment
