I am using Microsoft Teams Version 1.4.00.11161 (64-bit). It was last updated on 4/22/2021. Ever since the latest release, it has been stealing the focus from other applications. It does this consistently whenever I am on a video call and one of the other participants switches into (or out of) screen-sharing mode. By "stealing focus" I am specifically saying that if I am focused on any other application on either of my 2 screens, and the other person on the call switches into or out of screen-share on their machine, then my local MS-Teams app window forcibly comes to the top/foreground window and grabs the focus away from whatever other window/app I was in. It forces me to alt-tab back to that application to continue. And before you ask: Yes, I reported this via the "Report a Problem" link in the application as well. I just am so frustrated by this that I felt the need to report it here too, maybe to see just how many others are experiencing this behavior as well. MS Teams: PLEASE FIX THIS HORRIFIC BEHAVIOR! Sincerely, Rich LarsonSolved26KViews13likes31CommentsMac Desktop Client not working with External Webcams
The desktop mac client is no longer reading other webcams other than the default. The web client is still reading my other webcam. After restarting twice and troubleshooting, I am unable to determine why. This was not a problem yesterday and feels like it's due to a recent update. Specifically the EOS webcam utility and CamTwist are not being read.Solved9.5KViews0likes10CommentsAudio Bug
Recently I started having issues with teams, I believe it could be related to recent update. My audio will cut out for a short period of time when I receive system notifications. After receiving the notification the I can't hear the any audio for the call/meeting that is in progress for least a few seconds and could be closer to 10 seconds. This has been happening when I get notifications from various sources including outlook and MS teams. After a few seconds and clicking around to get focus back on the meeting the audio will come back. This issues is very frustrating as I find myself asking team members to repeat themselves because I've missed what was just said. I'm starting to consider other solutions for meetings to avoid this issue. I've enjoyed MS teams as our default tool for calls and meeting for over a year and hope this issue will be addressed quickly. My configuration is using system microphone with SoundBot Bluetooth headphones. I don't think it related directly to my audio configuration. I've had other team members complaining of the same thing recently.5KViews1like3CommentsNew Teams random chat switch when hovering reaction
Hi, I Report a bug when hovering a reaction on a message to view who's reacted to (Windows 10). Sometimes, with the new Teams version (24102.2223.2870.9480.), hovering over a message's reaction causes the chat list to switch from the current one to a random one in your chat history. Hi, I’ve been searching a solution for this problem, but I can’t seem to find on. My desktop app is crashing and reopening in a loop. When it is reopening it says, "The app has been restored, and are working again.". I can use the app for maybe 5 minutes and then it crashes. I can call and share and everything. I’ve been trying to delete the credential as a tip but there isn’t any on my computer for teams. All help will be highly regarded 🙂 FYI, the app is set to norwegian.2.6KViews0likes2CommentsHover info bug in Teams on macOS
Hey guys, I'm having a bug where hovering mouse over eye-icon in chat doesn't trigger tooltip which should say who exactly have seen the message. This also applies to hovering over status icon in user profiles without first clicking on the user, it doesn't trigger tooltip which should show is user in a call or in a meeting or whatever. Above things works just fine on Windows though, can anyone fix this please?2KViews0likes1CommentThere was a problem when attaching this file. Please remove and tried again.

If only the browser window is shared in a team session, the content of dropdown controls (normal HTML select-controls) is not displayed when you click the select-control. Teams version: 1.4.00.41671.7KViews0likes0CommentsUnable to log out of Teams on Linux
Unable to raise this as a bug report because the bug report feature on Teams (Linux) doesn't work! Madness. Main report is that Teams will not allow you to log out of an account for whose credentials have "expired" until you've logged into it again. In other words, let's say I logged in to Teams using account A and then came back to it tomorrow, wishing to log into another account, account B. If login A has "expired" (ie is asking for credentials again) you get stuck in a loop where you can't get rid of the prompt to log in until you've logged IN to that account, only to sign out again. This is of course plainly ridiculous. If login A has expired and I want to use login B, I shouldn't have to log in and out of login A first. Total waste of time and has caught me out multiple times. Hi there, Our team has encountered a bug with MS Teams handling of an authentication popup window when launched through a Tab Configuration dialog. Repro steps: 1) Go to a Team channel and click the + button to add a new tab. 2) Select an app that requires authentication as part of the tab configuration process. 3) Initiate the authentication process. The authentication pop-up window should appear. 4) Before the authentication pop-up completes, close the Tab configuration dialog. Expected results: The authentication pop-up window should be closed/cancelled when the tab configuration dialog is closed, or closed when the notifySuccess/notifyFailure events are triggered. Actual results: The authentication pop-up continues running, and doesn't close on completion (likely because Teams is no longer listening for the notifySuccess/notifyFailure events).1.5KViews0likes1Comment
