Survey

I've set up a survey in Forms to be used to count attendance for an organization on a weekly basis. There are 7 different questions to input a number for the count in different sections. I've set the restrictions on all the questions, and when I pull up the survey on my phone browser I can see the answer box says "The value must be a number." But when the answers are submitted, they are being changed to text; the Excel spreadsheet shows the answer is '59, instead of 59. The cell format also shows that it should be number. The problem is that I have some formulas built in the Excel spreadsheet recording the answers, and they obviously cannot work if the answers are text. Is anyone else dealing with this problem? Any ideas how to fix it?40KViews16likes35CommentsAllow form respondents to save and continue to fill the form later
My comment refers to this voting: https://microsoftforms.uservoice.com/forums/386451-welcome-to-microsoft-forms-suggestion-box/suggestions/18447406-allow-form-respondents-to-save-and-continue-to-fil In our company we use sharepoint and MS 365 Business every day. MS Forms is very intuitive and esasy to handle, thats great! I made a long survey on sustainability topics to our members. Then I got feedback that in many cases more than one person in the adressed member companies have to work together according to their expertise... so they need the option to save the survey, send it to another colleague who can conitnue answering the question... Right now I have to look to alternative tools to fullfill this very important option. But I would prefer to continue my survey (where I already put more than one week of effort) in MS Forms. Is there already any timeline, when Mircrosoft will implement this function? Best regards from Germany Matthias100KViews15likes53CommentsEmbedding the FORM within Email Body
Has anyone successfully embedded the Form Code within the body of an email so that the email "is" the form. This is in contrast to the usual method of inserting the Form URL into an email - which requires the reader of the email to click and load the Form. I hope this makes sense... at the moment we distribute Forms to Parents via email, including introductory text, salutation etc... then with a line asking them to "Click here to complete the Form" How can I achieve "the email is the form"140KViews9likes25CommentsMicrosoft Form used for Survey keeps Jumping on top of the page
Hi, I am seeing this bug which was not there before. I have created a survey but has several branches. Now every time a branching option question is clicked, it keeps jumping/scrolling on top of the page. So the user will have to scroll back down. I know this was a known issue which was fixed in the past but this is recurring again. Any idea if there is a fix coming down the pipeline soon? or else I will have to look into other 3rd party option. Thanks, mofahimSolved12KViews8likes40CommentsForms suggestion for anonymous poll
Anonymous poll is a very common scenario we have in our school(and I believe it is for every school), but currently we can't use Forms to do it because in Forms anonymity means: 1.You can'tlimit who can vote, 2.You can'tlimit how many votes a user can cast. Pleasemake it possibletoconduct anonymous pollswhere voters can be authenticated with their Office 365 account, thanks.19KViews7likes8CommentsAdd option to allow for a link on the splash / thank you page after completing a survey/quiz
It would be great to have the option to add a message after a survey/quiz is completed. The exiting "Thank you" page should be editable to allow for the placement of a link(s),images,or an additional message other than "Thank you"1.2KViews6likes2Comments
