Mark news as "read" in SharePoint Online?
Sometimes my users are asking me, if it is possible to mark news in SharePoint as "read". So like emails are not bold anymore after you views them, it would be nice if there is any indicator on a news tile, that shows weather the user already saw the content. Is something like this possible?

Sharepoint - News Webparts
Hello, My team have created a Sharepoint site for 9 different projects to showcase their recent developments, information and board meeting dates using different webparts. The latest one we have tested out is the News webpart and was very happy with what it can do. BUT, now that I've tried to add the webpart to the other project pages, I've realised that the same 'news' populates across all the projects webparts. Is there a way of separating the news, so that each project site can have it's own separate news app? TIA Jackie

Showing updated news in News Web Part
Hello Tech friends! Does anyone know if a news post will float back up to the top of the News Web Part if it is updated and republished? I am working on the long term Knowledge Management Strategy for a client and their request was to post a news page, then update it on a semi regular basis when something about the content changes and they want it to float to the top of the list on the hub site homepage. I can brainstorm ways to get this functionality from highlighted content, but I was hoping it was native in the News feature. Thanks!

Auto delete SharePoint News posts after a certain period
Hello Everyone, I was asked by a client to set a "Retention" period of 3 years for News posts in a SharePoint site. The idea is the News posts older than 3 yeas will be automatically deleted. I can't find a way to do this automatically. Does anyone here know if this is possible and how to achieve it? Thank you all in advance and have a wonderful day 😉
