On October 5, 2023, Microsoft announced the general availability of the new Teams 2.1 client. Based on a new architecture and promising better performance and lower system resource usage, Teams 2.1 is available for Windows and macOS desktops and browsers. The signs are good as the client has been in public preview since March, but we'll only really know how successful the client is after several months of use. https://practical365.com/teams-2-1-client/8.1KViews0likes0CommentsExplicit recording consent not working in the new Teams app
We have enabled explicit recording consent in our tenant: https://office365itpros.com/2023/03/13/explicit-consent-for-teams-recordings/ This works fine in the "old" Teams client, but anyone using the new Teams app cannot enable their microphone when recording is activated, and hence not consent and participate in meetings. Anyone got this to work in the new Teams app?1.8KViews0likes2CommentsPreparing for the Teams 2.1 Client to Arrive
