Hi ! I have a question regarding CoPilot licensing requirements. I have a premium CoPilot license and have created a CoPilot agent. I’d like to know: Do end users interacting with my CoPilot agent also need to have a premium CoPilot license? Does it make a difference if the agent uses premium connectors (e.g., ServiceNow) versus standard connectors? Does the publishing location of the agent (e.g., in Teams, SharePoint site, website embed, etc.) affect licensing requirements for end users? I want to ensure that the right licenses are in place for all users. Any clarification would be greatly appreciated. Thank you57Views1like1CommentI don't see conversation option in m365 chat

Hi Everyone, We have been trialing Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT in our organization and finally decided to start buying some licenses for users, however we have noticed on android devices like samsung when you open Copilot and sign in it redirects you to the M365 Copilot app, after loading the app on our phones we notice you can no longer click the little mic icon and have conversations with Copilot, this is really frustrating and there seems to be zero information online about this, is this a lack of functionality or am I missing something in our tenant settings that would block the ability to use the mic function in the M365 Copilot app for Android? I can open the free version and have conversations with it but there is no history and its really annoying.51Views0likes2CommentsUse Copilot with Microsoft ToDo
It would be great if I could have Microsoft Copilot Pro talk to and be able to query these few responses. 1. What are my important task that I am missing? 2. What task do I need to focus on in the next few days? 3. Look at this project/doc/sharepoint file and add additional task to my ToDo that isn't currently on my list.144Views2likes2CommentsWeb Content toggle is now missing
Hi All- Starting yesterday, the toggle for "web content" in m365 Copilot has disappeared. And when searching for content, we see this alert: "Your organization has turned off web search. Copilot responses won't include the latest data from the web." No changes have been made on our end and we have the Cloud Policy for "Allow web search in Copilot" enabled. Anyone else having issues?121Views2likes2CommentsQuestion about the latest update
Hi, Has the native m365 copilot app been updated to GPT- 4.1? I saw this on the Reddit community. Also, A few days ago a new Frontier app "Copilot Gpt-4.1" appeared alongside Researcher and Analyst in the integrated app section. It's gone now. Can somebody confirm if there's been an update?198Views0likes3CommentsThe Case of the Mysterious SharePoint Embedded Containers
A set of 80 mysterious SharePoint Embedded containers turned up because Microsoft pre-provisioned storage for files used as knowledge sources by Copilot agents. Details of the pre-provisioning are in message center notification MC1058260, but who has the time to read and analyze everything posted to the message center? And anyway, the mysterious containers have now disappeared… https://office365itpros.com/2025/05/28/sharepoint-embedded-containers-km/28Views0likes0CommentsCopilot Agent with Salesforce
I am currently developing a custom agent in Microsoft Copilot Studio to streamline access to key information from our Salesforce sandbox, including Leads, Opportunities, I have successfully integrated Salesforce as a knowledge source using the Salesforce connector, authenticated via a service account with admin privileges in Salesforce. The integration is technically working as expected. However, I’ve encountered a security concern: At present, any user interacting with the Copilot agent can retrieve all data from Salesforce, regardless of their individual permissions in Salesforce. This appears to be due to the elevated privileges of the service account used for the connector. I would like assistance with configuring user-level access control within this integration. Specifically, I want to ensure that: Only authorized users can access specific Salesforce data through the Copilot agent. Users can only perform actions or retrieve records that their Salesforce permissions allow. Could you please guide me on how to properly implement permission scoping or data access control within Copilot Studio when using a high-privilege service account in the Salesforce connector?360Views0likes1Comment
