13 TopicsCopilot for MCTs
I participated in the February 2024 Training Services Partner Community Call (TSPCC) about an hour ago, where numerous Copilot courses and Applied Skills Assessments were announced. However, a critical concern remains unaddressed: the accessibility of Copilot for Microsoft Certified Trainers (MCTs) to effectively teach these courses and conduct assessments. The current guidance of "Bring your own subscription" (which was provided to me as a response in the TSPCC Q & A today) for training organizations is impractical and does not align with the needs of MCTs and training service providers (TSPs). The lack of a feasible solution for accessing Copilot presents a significant barrier to entry, particularly for individual trainers and small to medium-sized TSPs. The financial burden of procuring a Copilot license, with its substantial upfront cost and lack of a monthly payment option, is a deterrent to many, including myself and many TSPs in my region. This situation creates an uneven playing field, favoring larger enterprise TSPs capable of acquiring multiple licenses, thereby monopolizing the market and client base. It is imperative to recognize that the demand for instructor-led training in Copilot is high, with students seeking guidance and consultation in navigating this revolutionary tool. The self-learning route is not a viable alternative for all learners. I urge Microsoft WWL to expedite the development of a solution that provides MCTs with complimentary access to Copilot, enabling us to deliver the high-quality training that is in demand. The current model is not sustainable and risks alienating a significant portion of the training community. It is crucial for Microsoft WWL to address this issue promptly to ensure the successful rollout of Copilot courses and to maintain the integrity and inclusivity of the MCT program.Update from the MCT Program Team- PLEASE READ.
The MCT Portal is available BUT currently in a PILOT PHASE! To enable this pilot, we’ve set up a public link for early access. However, the portal has not been officially announced yet, and we kindly ask that you hold off on directing MCTs to renew or enroll for about one week. We’re working through a few bugs to ensure the best possible user experience for everyone. Thank you for your understanding and patience as we finalize these improvements. Dear Community Leaders, I hope this message finds you well! I’m reaching out to ask if it would be appropriate to share a post in the MCT Community or MCT Longue regarding an initiative I’m developing under the Microsoft XIAD program. The concept is to invite fellow MCTs—particularly those not currently affiliated with a TSP—to collaborate on future training events. While paid opportunities may not be available at the outset, we’re committed to offering visibility and recognition. One way we plan to do this is by featuring trainer profiles and their specialties on our website, helping build credibility and exposure for participating MCTs. As part of this initiative, I’m planning to organize a one-day event each quarter, and I’m looking to collaborate with five certified MCTs who hold any of the following certifications: PL300, DP100, DP203, DP600, DP700, PL200, PL400, PL600 The goal is to foster meaningful partnerships and create a space where trainers can align with our mission and potentially engage in future work. I’d love to start this conversation in a transparent and inclusive way, and I believe the MCT Café could be a great place to gauge interest and gather feedback. Please let me know if this type of post would be welcome, or if there’s a preferred channel or format for sharing such ideas. Warm regards, vk2 MCT & Head of TSP.Unable to access https://cdx.transform.microsoft.com
Hello I have an organization that is a valid TSP. They want to access and use https://cdx.transform.microsoft.com/ but they are presented with the error message: Not Authorized Oops! It looks like you do not have permissions to access this page. We looked but we couldn't find your login [email address] associated to a Microsoft partner organization. How do they fix this? Who provides access? Regards Chintan PatelSolvedExam and Certification badges
Is there a Press-kit or something with all the exam and certification badges so we can display them in learning paths and class information pages on our website somewhere? I can download most from our individual trainers's credly profiles, but I'd rather have an official zip file without any credly metadata embedded in the picture.SolvedMarketing Community Call postponed to November 1st (2nd in Asia)
