49 TopicsGroups - message sorting options in Outlook
Hello all, Has anyone received any complaints from their users about the lack of sorting options in Outlook Groups? My users would like to be able to sort their conversations by subject or sender, and finds it unpractical to use if those types of features are not available. Is this by design? Anything in the works to add more functionality? The only options are a search bar, or the "Find Messages from sender" option when right clicking on a message in the mailbox. Interested to hear what you all think. Thanks! Nick3.4KViews4likes3CommentsHow do copy an email attachment from O365 Group email to O365 Groups Files?
Does anyone know if there is an easy way to save the attachment from an email ina O365 Groups mailbox to the O365 Groups Files repository? It seem like the only way to accomplish this is to save it down to a PC dirve first and then upload it.Solved10KViews4likes16CommentsExternal Email Delivery to O365 Group Inbox
We have found that our O365 group inboxes are no longer receiving a copy of emails sent from external senders. If members have subscribed to the inbox then they receive a copy but not the group inbox. Does anyone else see this same result? I don't know how long ago this changed, but I distinctly remember cleaning up emails in the group inbox from external senders and now they are just missing. The config settings has "Allow outside senders" set to on. This is true for groups that have "subscribe members" on and off. All internal emails to the group are present, just emails originating from outside are missing. If its relevant, we are in a hybrid configuration for Exchange. All members of these groups were users created on prem Exchange and migrated to O365. All O365 groups were created from Microsoft 365 Admin Center.6.2KViews2likes4CommentsIs there a "Sent" folder for an O365 Group Conversation?
If I grant a user access to SendAs the O365 Group, and they send an email "as the group", and they don't copy themself, where does that email actually go. I can't find any record of it anywhere inside the group (only in the inbox of the recipient).20KViews2likes18CommentsMigrating Shared Mailbox to O365 Group?
If we have a shared mailbox, lets say a years worth of history of emails, several folders in it, and we want to "migrate" over to an O365 Group: Does the conversations/inbox of a group have folder capabilities like a Shared Mailbox? Can you drag and drop/copy old emails into the group somehow? Can you drag and drop/copy conversations into your mailbox somehow? I had assumed the Group conversations acted like a shared mailbox, but now that we are testing it out, I dont really see that at all.Solved47KViews2likes13CommentsConvert O365 Group to Shared MB
Is there a way to convert a O365 group to a shared mailbox; or at least move all of the emails/conversations from an O365 group to a shared mailbox? I know that it is recommended to use O365 groups rather than shared mailboxes, however, until I can easily setup a way to automatically send "from" an O365 group, it is just easier to open up a shared mailbox from OWA and use that. My use case is I want a "office@company.com" email address that I can assign to the office secretary and yet have the secretary have their own account. This way, the person in the secretary position changes, I can just re-assign the "office@company.com" email and all of the associated information (contacts, calendar, etc).85KViews2likes8CommentsConvert O356 Group to personal mailbox
Im trying to convert a O365 group to a personal mailbox. I'll do it manually, because I know that there is no way to do this in Exchange Center. My O365 group is client1@mydomain.com. I already created a personal mailbox named client1-mail@mydomain.com So this is my plan: Migrate all the mails from the group to the personal mailbox Change group mailbox alias to client1-old@mydomain.com Change personal mailbox alias to client1@mydomain.com Do you think this is possible? is the best approach? and finally, is there a way to send all the O365 old mails to the personal mailbox? Thank you in advance and sorry about my english.6.9KViews1like5CommentsO365 Group Email Questions
Hi, having a problem finding some info on the net on the following questions associated with the email address the group has access to. Is litigation hold possible on the email address within an office 365 group? Is there an archive like there would be for a licensed user or plan 1/2 on a shared mailbox? Email storage looks to be 50GB, what if you needed more? Is there Advanced Threat Protection?Solved909Views1like1Comment
